Product Review

My wife surprised me with this guitar saying I didn’t know much about this guitar but it looked badass. When I opened it up and plugged it it, it truly fit her description!!! The pickups are sick and the action is like butter!!! I love the complete blacked out look!!! Looking for a Les Paul with a Floyd rise done up right!!!??!! Look no further!!!

fun LP

Product Review

Always wanted a LP with a floyd. I am a metal head, so this black studio version appealed to me. I am use to high end guitars, so I did put some work into it to make it better. Out of the box...it had fret buzz when I tried to lower the action. After failing with the usual methods with adjusting the truss rod, I ended up doing a good fret/level/polish. Also, the description does not tell you what kind of Floyd it has. It does not have an original made in Germany Floyd, and it does not come back to zero after dive bombing, or pulling up dimebag style, so I put in an original Floyd. The craftsmanship is that of a low end studio. I also had to adjust the locking nut to center it up. After all that work, I dig it

AWESOME guitar

Product Review

Not only does it look badass, it plays and sounds badass. It did need a quick setup when I got it, but not a big deal. It's a lot lighter than a Standard or Custom Les Paul and that does affect the sound but not in a bad way. I run it through my Marshall and rack setup and it sounds ballsy and thick. Sounds great for clean as well. I was honestly a bit skeptical about buying a guitar without having played it first but I couldnt be happier with my purchase and AMS's service

Product Review

Was skeptical at first since back in the late seventies I had a Floyd Rose professionally installed on my 74 20th anniversary Les Paul and that was a mistake. It never worked as i had hoped. This factory installed Floyd Rose on the Paul is amazing. Of course in Gibson style out of the box the neck had to be adjusted the action had to be adjusted pickups needed to be adjusted and intonation needed to be set. Now 40 years later the kid, still in me, is smiling..

The Ease of Play Creeps Up On Yoou

Product Review

I've always wanted a Gibson. I went for it. First thing I notice is that it's heavy. I start playing it and it was like, "Hmm, what's the big deal?" But, as I broke it in it began to feel really comfortable. The tone and action are great. I only took a few sessions playing that I was sure I made the right choice. Now I see what the hubbub is about.
