    I love this guitar
What is your opinion of this product?
Love thus guitar, beautiful top.I always regretted selling my 82 Les Paul Standard. Wanted another Les Paul but didn't want to pay 2 grand for another Standard. Did some research and thought this was a good deal. I was wrong, it's a GREAT deal. I didn't like the PCB pots, so I gutted it and put in some 450g CTS 500k pots and Switchcraft 3-way. Love the neck and the pickups.I can't put it down!

    Well worth EVERY penny!
What is your opinion of this product?
Over the years I have always wanted a Les Paul but just never pulled the trigger on the purchase. I have been fortunate to play custom built guitars specifically with unfinished necks so to say the least I am particular. After demo-ing LP's I would ultimately come to the same conclusion: 1. Too Heavy 2. I Wasn't comfortable with the finished neck. Well after preparing to bite the bullet I decided to order this Tribute model, in a Lightburst, with a minor blemish. I figured that I was not breaking the bank if for some reason I ended up not playing it as much as I was hoping to. All I can say is that I LOVE this guitar! It sounds great for the style of Hard Rock/Metal that I play and it also is nicely warm through a clean channel as well. I couldn't be happier!

    Love it
What is your opinion of this product?
I bought this guitar in Iced Tea Burst. I love the color. Absolutely stunning. The guitar came set up nicely. All the hardware on the guitar is great, love the tuners. Only negative i have to say about the guitar is the frets between 1-3 on the underside of the guitar. The frets need to be sanded slightly they are a bit sharp. Additionally, the fret board between those frets is gouged. I can feel it a little bit when i play. It's not sharp or annoying, just has 'character'. Overall, i'm VERY pleased with my purchase, the gig bag it comes with is fantastic - like it more than my SKB hardshells.

    Gibson's Updates Are Great
What is your opinion of this product?
When I first started playing guitar 20 or so years ago, I had a Gibson Les Paul, but sold it when I had to move as a "youngster." Over time, I became infatuated with Fenders, but I recently got his Les Paul Tribute and, wow, is it a different time. I had remembered my old Les Paul as a heavy block of wood that took as much physical energy as mental and emotional energy to play. Times have changed! I could not believe how light the guitar was....and more importantly, how versatile it was. Now, don't get me wrong, I still love my Strat, but certain songs I will now play with my Les Paul - the bends and sounds are just amazing. Also, the dual volumes are used in certain situations, which can't be realize on a Fender. Bravo, Gibson!

    Tribute to a good deal!
What is your opinion of this product?
I own a first year 2010 LP Tribute which I knicknamed The Lawsuit Model. They only made 128 then the flood then the FEDS. I paid $600.00 (new) from a Chicago outlet. I have upgraded to a vintage ABR 1 Bridge, Straplocks, Vintage Electronics covers, Bumblebees caps and an amber Toggle Switch cover. Its Honeyburst with natural finish on back. Now.. these have kept the worst value of any LP i have ever seen. Why? I have no idea! The 2nd year they started to darken the backs, then they switched to different necks etc. A tribute was getting confusing, now they are back with the basically the same Tribute they started with in the first place. I have the coveted p-90's pickups which sold me on the guitar. I hate my 50's thick neck and would much rather have a thinner 60's. The faux binding you have to see in person to judge. Its airbrushed by hand and very interesting. Its the first thing Gibby's love to look at and comment on with my Tribute. OK, That's what I have and think..good luck!
