Handcrafted exclusively from solid tone-woods, the 2018 J-35 features a Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides for a well balanced tone. Featuring vintage 1930’s advanced X-bracing pattern resulting in outstanding projection. The J-35 is the modern equivalent of that original round-shoulder flat-top with Gibson's historically celebrated, full-bodied acoustic tone.
The J-35 includes many vintage touches including, firestripe pickguard, script and banner decal, and Gotoh white button tuners. Upgraded with LR Baggs Element VTC pickup system with Volume, Tone, and Compression for superior natural tone when amplified.
