Very handsome and playable. Feels like l have played it for years. Although the price should be at least 100.00 cheaper sense us lefties don't get the Bigsby. l found one online official Gretsch authorized Bigsby for 115.00. Now l intend to upgrade everything to gold. Couple of bucks upgrading. Roller bridge for the bigsby. New set of Elixer nanoweb strings again for the bigsby. l have found they forgive the serious stress put on them and stay in tune longer. This handsome pig will rock... Buy it with confidence. lt is a quality piece for the price. Throw a couple more bucks in for upgrades you will have a piece to be proud of and enjoy for life...

    95% Awesome.
What is your opinion of this product?
I've always wanted to own a Gretsch guitar, so when I saw that they were making a lefty in an affordable price range I couldn't resist. This guitar is utterly beautiful. Superb craftsmanship and detail. Totally playable right out of the box, but I do reccomend setting it up per the Gretsch standard to get the optimum tone and playability. I play mine through an Orange head with a vintage Kustom cabinet and the tone and versatility is amazing. Now, the reason this guitar is only 95% awesome is because, for some reason, Gretsch decided that lefties aren't worthy of the Bigsby tremolo. Come on! That's like bread with no butter! Pizza with no sauce!

    Love it!
What is your opinion of this product?
This is a beautiful instrument. I'm just getting back into playing after a ten year hiatus and I think I made the right choice. Once you have it all set up, you start to understand what they mean by That Great Gretsch Sound. Mine also came with the bridge secured and no foam underneath! I don't know if they are all like that now but that was definitely a bonus after hearing so much about the floating bridge. And for the price, compared to the more expensive models, you can't go wrong. The only, only, only, drawback is that the LH model doesn't have the Bigsby so it does lose a star on that. Apparently we aren't cool enough!
