Product Description

The Hammond SK1 73 Key Organ Keyboard is the perfect ax for singer-songwriters and accompanists of all genres, due to its ability in shifting the keyboard response automatically between piano and organ-type “feels”. The SK1-73's 73-note Fatar keyboard provides the proper “breathing room” for a modern keyboardist, while retaining the superior feel, light weight and small footprint of the 61-note model. The 61-note keyboard became the de facto standard for electric keyboards through its use on the first widely available electric keyboard instrument, the Hammond Organ, but the demands on today’s players require a greater scope. A keyboardist today may jump from B-3 to Electric Piano to Clav in the same song, and if based in the Piano tradition, may find a 61 note keyboard limiting.

Hammond SK1 73 Key Organ Keyboard Features:
  • Genuine and Authentic Hammond Organ
  • Authentic Chorus-Vibrato/Touch Response Percussion/Overdrive
  • 12 Hammond Macro Profiles with 17 Tweakable Parameters
  • 96 Individually Adjustable, Voiceable Digital Tonewheels
  • Create Your Perfect "B-3" From Showroom New to Road Worn Vintage

Product Review

Keyboard shipped with two day free shipping and arrived on time. I really like this keyboard. It is very light and compact (compared to my old Hammond XK-2 which weighed 50 pounds). Organ and piano voices are very good and Leslie is great. I got the 73 key model for room to play the piano. Operation is a little complex but it that comes with all the options and flexibility. The only thing I would suggest is a removable music stand but I am using a floor stand and it works fine.

Best of Both worlds!

Product Review

Having such a diverse instrument has truly come in handy. To have your great piano sounds, great B3 for gospel, and pipe for anthems with drawboards and expression pedal is wonderul! To double the organ on piano is just genius!! Lightweight makes this my go to!

Perfect keyboard (Yes, Keyboard)

Product Review

This is definitely an organ even though there are some piano, elect piano, string, and many other sounds that normal keyboard and synthesizers have. I was impressed by piano and string sound! Its above my expectation! I have no doubt that this organ keyboard can be used as a main keyboard for any genre (church, gig...) If we talk about organ part of this keyboard, its beyond. The presence of built in Lesile in Hammond is so perfect that you can hear or try little bit of how your ck1 would sound with Leslie! Highly recommend this!

Excellent sound, great feature set.

Product Review

I was looking for a Hammond first, multisound option second. I think the SK1 delivers. The organ sounds are awesome, as are the other electric keyboard sounds. The piano sounds are fair, though the biggest hurdle is the volume or velocity differences between the types of keys. That will take some programming and patience, but I believe I'll get there. BTW...the User's Guide is best used as a coffee coaster - it's worthless.
