The little bass with monster sound

What is your opinion of this product?
this bass has proved to be a beast in its own right. Price was right and I got way more than i expected in tonality and low end punch. I've been running it out of a 60 watt Behringer amp at practices that gives me enough with the guitar's tone to keep up with two loud half stack guitar amps.

Not a toy
What is your opinion of this product?
I bought this bass as a practice instrument. My Carvin Walnut LB75's are heavy. It was so comfortable to play I thought I'd use it on a gig. I first used it in an acoustic quartet in a cramped pub setting. It's small footprint was a joy and it kept up just fine with the B string sounding pretty solid. Ok I said ....I'll take it to the blues jam Sunday night. Again it did a surprising job pushing a full band. The bassists in the house were as amazed as I that it sounded so full. After passing that test I took it out for a full band gig. Rockin blues. Kick ass drummer, keys , guitar and the Mikro. Passed the test. Didn't feel the need to yank out the Carvin once. Ok it's a cheap little sucker but it plays fine and sounds good. Maybe the little bass will catch on and manufactures will come out with more sophisticated models. Until then the Mikro is in my gig bag.

$200 Oh Hell yeah!
What is your opinion of this product?
I gave it 5stars because for 200 bucks its a good deal.not a toy guitar at all. I got it for my nephew's birthday. Now i want one. Better than Any 80s $200 guitars ever were. Even ibanez. I did have to set it up better for a kid and adjust the tone alittle but very good guitar. For the price? Go for it.

Great if you're looking for a short scale 5-string
What is your opinion of this product?
I play a lot of short scale basses, and I currently own two 4-string Mikros (one to mod), a Ubass, a Squier Jag and a Hofner Shorty. I wanted a 5-string bass, but after ESP stopped making theirs, I couldn't find one with a shorter scale till I came across the Mikro. I couldn't find one in a store, and was concerned about string buzz, as the scale is only 28.6", but decided to order one for my birthday. I needn't have worried as my Mikro 5 has less buzz than my other short scales. It also has a rich tone that I actually like. It's fun to play, with decent string tension considering its scale length. Finish was perfect, neck was smooth. And more good news is that Fodera currently makes a set of strings specifically designed for this bass (go figure!). I did have to dial in a little neck relief via the truss rod to get the bass to its buzz-free state. That didn't surprise me, as for the past year or so whenever I try Ibanez basses, they seem to have less n I couldn't be happier!
