    Product Description

Ibanez took their famous RG series and created this made-for-metal guitar series, Iron Label. Guitarists love the fast playability of the Iron Label series plus the high output tone for the heaviest of metal in mind.

The RGIX20FEQM is a hardtail instrument that brings the Iron Label Series to a whole new level. Tricked out with a quilted maple top/ basswood back body, beautiful abalone binding and gold hardware, this axe gets noticed before it’s even plugged in.

Other features include 3-piece maple/bubinga Nitro Wizard fast neck, jumbo frets and a bound ebony fingerboard for clear articulation and quick response. And no matter what your signal chain, an EMG 60 in the neck and an EMG 81 in the bridge guarantee a thick, complex distortion from which to carve your signature sound. The reliable Gibraltar Standard Bridge is the envy of the industry, and the performance enhancing killswitch puts you in command of a head-turning strobe effect.

What is your opinion of this product?
Finally an ibanez worthy of metal- of course it sounds great but the bubinga/ maple neck is amazing. The bridge is by far the most comfortable and gives faster and tighter playing ability. Jackson and ESP guys can put their guitar down for a min. These iron labels have a 43mm nut width not mentioned. One of the best under a grand!
