Product Description

A stunning finish, the RGIX6FDLB features a Laurel Burl top with a black stained ash body, giving the model an exotic appearance and an almost otherworldly color scheme. As the legion of converts to the made-for-metal Iron Label series continues to grow, Ibanez speaks to the flash and fury of the frantic shredder with the RGIX6FDLB.

A reverse headstock adds another element of visual distinction. The neck is constructed using a combination of maple and purpleheart topped off with an ebony fingerboard. Luminescent side dots are provided on the neck for increased visibility in darker playing environments.

The guitar comes with DiMarzio Fusion Edge pickups, which were the result of a direct collaboration between DiMarzio and Ibanez. They provide great clarity and a very smooth response, satisfying the current demands of players in today’s progressive metal scene. The pickups also include a coil tap option for an expanded array of sounds.

The Edge-Zero II tremolo bridge provides the optimal transfer of each string’s vibration to the body. Gotoh locking machine heads help provide superior tuning stability and expedite string changes.

The RG Iron Label is a perfect choice for the metal player looking for a more modern guitar that features the ultimate in both sound and playability.

Ibanez builds guitars for all levels of players—from beginners to the most demanding masters of the instrument. Regardless of price, Ibanez always strives to offer the absolute best sound, style, and playability in its class.

What is your opinion of this product?
Decent instrument but not great. Several finish flaws and played like an Indonesian guitar. Cheap. If your used to Japanese quality ibanez's you'll be disappointed in this one. The quality and fit and finish just aren't there especially for this price range. Anything $1,000 and above should come with a case imo.

One of the best purchases I’ve ever made
What is your opinion of this product?
First thing when I bought this product I notice how much better the color looks in person, the guitar has good weight to it, and the pick ups sound amazing, and has a fast neck , I love this thing so much I want to get the green version of this one to have it in a different tuning.

Great metal machine
What is your opinion of this product?
Gotta say probably my new favorite Ibanez and Ive had quite a few prestige models over the year. The paint color and finish is such a nice breath of fresh air from the typical matte black and other "metal colors". I like the simplicity of the volume and 3way switch which really helps on a live situation. Of you want to split the pickups though you can. Also I always thought the tone knob was kinda of waste as I never used it. Very impressed with the custom dimarzios in this beast. Plenty of power and cut for solos. Always have been a dimarzio guy as am glad Ibanez has never dropped a Seymour on ang of their models that I know of. What a great guitar delivered perfectly by ams my only need was no tremolo inside box. O called Ibanez and they sent one out asap. Get this metal beast

Gorgeous guitar that plays like a dream
What is your opinion of this product?
A truly beautiful guitar. It feels like a piece of art in my room. But, in typical Ibanez fashion, it plays amazingly. Super flat radius on the fretboard with the always comfortable Wizard neck profile, it's a shredders dream. I'm not normally big on Ibanez stock pickups, but the Dimarzio Fusion Edges sound great in this guitar. The Gotoh locking tuners are a fantastic touch. Over the past few years, I've converted all my guitars to locking tuners. They're such a great quality of life upgrade for guitarists. If you're into metal/shred guitar, this a great choice at fantastic price point.

Feels like driving a $100k sportscar, but totally different because this is a guitar...
What is your opinion of this product?
I ordered this guitar for one purpose. To shred. However, I was completely taken by surprise because of the clarity and definition of the pickups. The clean tone on display in this thing is quite nice as well (coming from someone who also plays strats and teles). Also it was slightly heavier than any of my previous Ibanez guitars, which is a nice change of pace, to be honest. I honestly can't say anything bad about this. It's a great guitar to track with and it plays better than guitar I used to take out on the road, so... It does everything I wanted it to do and more.
