What is your opinion of this product?
The Good. The "compound radius" neck feels like it was made for my hands and very easily playable in that 17-22 fret range. The natural oil body is Mahogany. It looks gorgeous and plays nice even when not plugged in. Plugged in, It is a player for direct rock, hard rock, metal. anything "barr Chords" . I was playing some AC DC, some Sabbath, some VH and was told it sounded great. If you "strum" songs, this is not for you. It just doesn't have the tone for that....If i need just one overall guitar my 65 Jazzmaster is still the man. For a full gig I bring acoustic and electric guitars, so this will work The Bad : The finish was obviously not fine sanded ( final sanding) like a professional grade. It still looks gorgeous but you can feel the rough finish, the plastic cosmetic pieces around the pick ups are warping already. And the pick ups are high in the action area , my pick hits them . .......for 200 beans ? this guitar is a steal! looks great and neck plays like butter
