Light Weight and Powerful Pickups with a Smooth and Clear Tone!
What’s the deal with the Alumitone pickups?, you may find yourself asking. Alumitone Humbuckers provide broadband response like the single coil versions with 95 percent less copper, but are voiced for the classic mid range response you expect from a humbucker.

Installing two of these Alumitones on your guitar will slightly lighten its body weight, provide an intriguing appearance and increase its overall resonance!

What is your opinion of this product?
I have one great quality guitar and one dirt cheap one. The dirt cheap one I've been using for modifications. I put these in and I love the difference it made! They have a very open, crisp sound. They really let the harmonics come through, and they provide a ton of sustain. I bought two for the neck and bridge positions. Where these really shine is in the neck position. I almost never use the neck position because to me it just sounds muffled and dull. Now it almost has an acoustic shimmer to it. The negative reviews I've read about these pickups mostly focus on the lack of low end. It's true that the low end is de-emphasized with these, but I don't find it problematic at all. I like the more even distribution it has. Now my cheap guitar is actually comparable to my quality one! The lightweight factor had nothing to do with my purchase decision, but it is a nice bonus.
