Product Highlights

Product Description

The Lexicon Lambda Desktop Recording Studio’s 4x2x2 bus powered USB I/O Mixer is based on a recording studio mixer paradigm instead of a patch-bay style I/O system.
This structure lets you connect to the unit's (2) Phantom powered XLR mic-pre inputs, (2) 1/4-inch insert points, (2)1/4-inch balanced line inputs, and MIDI I/O at all times while controlling input levels, stereo/mono routing, and monitoring from the units front panel. Steinberg’s powerful Cubase LE recording platform offers recording of 48 audio and 64 MIDI tracks as well as full volume, pan, mute, and effects automation with advanced editing options. The included Lexicon Pantheon VST Reverb plug-in provides 35 presets, 6 reverb types and the legendary sound that only Lexicon can offer. The Lambda Desktop Recording Studio is a serious recording option for a beginner or the seasoned professional needing a portable solution.

Well made and dependable

Free software. Very user friendly.

10 Min and you are off and running knowing basic functions.

Nice Value.

What do you want me to say? It is a USB interface. How it looks does not concern me.

I read the reviews and was led to believe this was easy hook-up. I realize the recording would be a learning curve. But the reason NOT to buy this is that, it would not work with any pc soundcard and you CANNOT hear it to get it to work. It also corrupted my PC mic which I need for work and even erased the stuff on the mic icon. A serious manufacture flaw. Why get something of which you cannot even hear yourself play. I lost 3 hours of my time trying to fix settings and go on forums to see about fixing, with no avail.

It needs to be heard. Hello, writing music means you need to HEAR it.

Great, if what I thought it would be, no sound makes it worthless

looks ok

Gets The Job Done!

Well built. Will just be using in my studio, but could take some bumps if you were carting it with a laptoprig.

Simple user interface. Easy to lay down a basic vocal & git track. The included Lexicon reverb VST is awesome!

Plug & play. Only issue I ran into was that for some reason it did not load the Lambda driver, even though the checkbox was checked to load it. Easy to reload however. If you have other recording software, use it. CUBASE works fine but they make you jump through hoops to authorize the thing!

Great value. Good bang for the buck!

Very easy interface.Loved that it was USB powered (did not need another wall wart supply! BUy one and start tracking!

Clean 24 bit sound

Your general opinion of this product.

Very high quality and has been a rock in my studio. Nice preamps clean sound

Nice ramping volume and mix. Good small foot print design

Plug and play

Great value

Great clean latency..But I use all Mac intel in my studio. The people who use Windows based computers will probably always have latency.

This unit does the job

Your general opinion of this product.

Made of plastic. Since the unit sits in a studio & not moved. The plastic thing is not an issue.

I have had no problems with latency. The headphone jack needs to be 1/4 inch instead of the mini plug.

At first I couldn't get this thing to work. Manual never mentions Windows service pack 2 is needed. Once service pack 2 was installed. BINGO !

This was the first piece of equipment I bought from American Music Supply. The worked with me on price matching. So I will be doing more business with them. The original retail for this piece when it came out was $199.00 For me thats a little too high.

This unit sounds fine. I own several mixers. Each have their own vibe. I always run my signal through a mixer before it reaches the Lambda
