The SpinGrip positions your microphone whether you need an angle at the end of your boom or simply want an easier way to put microphones onto your stand. The SpinGrip Mic Mount, single-handedly fixed the long-standing joke of "positionable" microphone mounts. Due to its high popularity within the micKing product line, Latch Lake made the SGMM a standalone accessory for owners of non-Latch Lake microphone stands.
Latch Lake SpinGrip Microphone Mount Features
- The SpinGrip Mic Mount features 295º of motion and utilizes a 3” disc brake capable of locking the heaviest microphones in place. When opened, the unique free-spinning thread system also allows threading your stand into your mic, not the other way around.
- Quick Release lever locks for all adjustment points, all used to clamp metal-on-metal for maximum hold and durability. These locks ensure, hands down, the strongest hold possible with the least amount of frustration. Tension is adjustable via a thumbscrew when the lever is opened enabling users to set it as they desire.
- Utilizes hardened steel tubes and anodized aluminum components for maximum durability. Features recessed 5/8”-27 threads with a locking set screw for mounting, and includes a 5/8” thread extender adapter for use with standard length mic threads.
- Made in the USA.

Its unique free-spinning thread system allows for spinning the threads on to your microphone instead of spinning your microphone on to the threads. The SGMM comes with a 5/8”-27 thread extender to facilitate short threads often found on most microphone stands. Its mounting point is a 5/8-27 thread for US microphones.
