    Holy grail of tone!

What is your opinion of this product?
Bought the half stack from AMS! Great service as usual! This amp is amazing! I don't know what to say! The normal channel is capable of the best rhythm crunch you can imagine, as long as you're in a place where you can push the power tubes! I had the master volume at 8 and the preamp at 5 and it was amazing! My ears still hurt though and I was 20 ft away! Unfortunately the fifty watt mode sounds a bit asleep and blanketed next to the Full power mode. Good for practicing though. Something I didn't know that is awesome about this amp, when in the lead channel you can push the power tubes and control the volume with the separate lead volume control! Like a built in attenuator! If I knew this before it would have persuaded me faster to buy this! I can't say enough about this amp! The tone is more than I was hoping for! The effects loop works perfectly and if you keep it in the lead mode you can control the amount of gain and volume and still have the tone you want at bedroom levels! One last thing, if you need to gig with this, don't worry about headroom, insanely loud!Buy it!
