Marshall broke the CODE... The war is won!
What is your opinion of this product?
the amp does rattle a bit when turned up. This amp IS LOUD for 50 digital watts. It beats the cr-p out of my Blackstar ID CORE 100 (watts), but you can deep edit this patches. This amp is def good enough to gig with, you just have to mic it through the PA so you don't beat it up with volume. Highly recommend this amp. Use the CodeEditor on your computer for sharing patches with others and also make your deep editing easier.... USB recording to computer BUT.... USB recording only uses one mono track. NO STEREO... Also, MP3 playback through this amp is very low in volume and only one side of the stereo track somes through.... You can use the headphone output jack for recording in stereo but I don't believe anything on this amp is in stereo so it's a catch 22. Still for it's shotcomings this amp for the price rocks... Good luck...oh the Marshall amp modeling for their own amps is fantastic... great sound...

    How is this only $250?!!
What is your opinion of this product?
I'm a 40 yr old novice when it comes to playing guitar but have played Piano and Drums in bands for over 25 years. As every other drummer with a good ear, I've spent thousands of hours at ear level with dozens of different amps. Over the years I have always wanted to take that amazing JCM900 tone home with me in an effort to help with writing rhythm parts and better communicate with my Guitarists. Being a drummer and Pianist I simply could never afford it,, until now! Enter the Marshall CODE50. This thing is simply amazing. The best way to say it is, it just does everything Marshall. And to boot its super easy to navigate and learn quickly. The ability to use the App to control nearly everything from across the room via bluetooth really allows freedom and move around the room to experience all the effects and tones without going back the the amp. Bottom line, to my ear, Marshall has absolutely hit this one out of the park. Thousands of dollars in Marshall tones for close to nothing

    Great Practice Amp
What is your opinion of this product?
I have had the Code 50 for a while now. This amp is a beast compared to anything in its price range.. you can dial in any sound you want from Jazz to heavy metal, this amp is not a 1 trick pony.. What i found in the effects really blew me away.. they are really easy to use and sound great as well.. A hard sound to get on a non tube amp is the "Blue" sound.. you can push the mids cut some treble and turn the volume and tone knob back on your geetar and its not even close... On the Code 50 its a channel called AIR- play around with it a little bit and its "Blue" tone time ...This Amp has a tighter speaker in it than most Marshall amps. the cleans are nice and the speaker doesnt break up when cranked half way up,which is a good for a modulat. Not a single problem with this amp and i play it daily ... If your looking for the best Amp in the 50 watt range that doesnt break the bank and has more built in features than you will ever need or probably use, get a Code... you will love this Amp-

    Awesome amp!!!
What is your opinion of this product?
This amp does everything plus more than I'll ever use probably. You can adjust every preset that's stored to your liking although I like them the way they are. Would recommend getting the Code foot switch to go with it. Absolutely no complaints here.

    Great Marshall amp
What is your opinion of this product?
This is a great Marshall amp. Does it sound exactly like a legendary plexi, silver jubilee, or DSL? Maybe not exactly, but pretty darn close. Keep in mind this is a $250 amp, and not thousands of $$$. Lots of bang for the buck. I Was looking for an alternate to lugging my half stack to some smaller gigs, bad back and all. Within 5 minutes of opening the box, i had found several great presets, quickly modified them to my own taste, and ready to go. The programming is intuitive and very easy to pick up. I had no problems connecting to bluetooth as some have complained. I found the android app very good. This little amp gets really loud when you want it to, but also sounds great at lower volume levels too. No problem competing with the drums, and other loud band mates. Granted for this price point, you won't get every feature on your wishlist. As a gigging musician, i need an xlr line out, as i prefer not to mic my amps on stage. Sorry, I don't consider the 1/8" mini jack headphone output as a serious line out. Though it does sound pretty good in the headphones, not a real line out. I could also have really used speaker in/out jacks. Over all though, great amp for practice or even gigging. Buy one, you won't regret it.

    NOT THAT GREAT
What is your opinion of this product?
the price is great. Sounds good. But cabinet shake and vibrates at higher volume. Air escapes from headphone jack and every crack. Sometimes cuts out.

    Outstanding Amp
What is your opinion of this product?
I am very, very impressed with this amp. It blows my old 150 watt Fender away. The tones are as accurate as you can get, and this puppy is LOUD! Best amp I've ever had, and that's saying a lot. I HIGHLY recommend this amp, for anyone looking for an amp that can go from your living room, to taking it on the road.
