Product Description

Next-generation functionality, new EQ circuitry and greater tonal flexibility are just a few of the highlights of Marshall’s latest DSL series! The DSL-100HR utilizes 4 x EL34 power tubes to kick out up to 100 watts of all-Marshall tone while giving players the option to scale back the wattage for that big, bold tone at lower volume. Seen on all kinds of stages all over the world, the Marshall DSL series sets the standard in performance-grade amplification at a price in which you wouldn’t expect to find such great quality!

Marshall DSL100HR Amplifier Head Features

  • Gain and Volume Per Channel
  • Dedicated Resonance Control
  • High and Low Power Settings
  • Reverb
  • 2 Separate Master Volume Controls
  • Softube Emulated Output
  • 4 X ECC83 and 4 X EL34 Valves
Adjustable Power Output
The new DSL models feature adjustable power settings, which delivers all-valve tone & feel, at any volume, from bedroom to stage. The new technology adjusts power to the valves, instead of just turning off valve stages, allowing the amp to remain articulate, and dynamic.

EQ Refinements
Some innovative tweaks to the EQ circuitry have given the new DSLs even greater tonal flexibility. The EQ section of the new DSLs can deliver exactly what your ears are looking for.

Emulated Output
Our partnership with Softube has led to the creation of award-winning plug-ins, as well as exceptional tone in our CODE digital amps. The same team is responsible for the development of the new emulated output feature, found in the DSL series. Both the headphone out, and line out on the DSL models boast incredibly accurate emulation of our famed 1960 cabinet.

Reverb, Resonance, and Master Volume
The DSL is now more versatile than ever, with new features including discrete master volume controls for each channel, built-in reverb and resonance controls (the DSL1 and DSL5 do not offer resonance controls).

What is your opinion of this product?
Right out of the box easy to operate. comes with 2 channels of Marshall sound an ultra clean sound as well as that Marshall Crunch tone we all fell in love with.Reminds me alot of the Jcm 2000 Only better sounding. If you're looking for that Marshall tone without breaking the piggy bank this is it. Comes with FX Loop and Channel switching stomp box.

Well worth the money !
What is your opinion of this product?
I’m glad I picked this head up ! It sounds really stinkin good and it’s helped the audio quality mic’d up in our recording sessions. The channels are pretty straight forward and the eq is responsive and typical Marshall simple mixing. Doesn’t take long to get very useable tones out of this head. I play Gibson Les Paul’s and I run this head through a 1936 vintage lead cabinet. I get nice tone from Outlaw Country to just plain ol rock which is what our band... “J.P. Southern Band” covers. Check it out, AMS has a great deal on the Marshall DSL 100 HR !!

Was not impressed
What is your opinion of this product?
They re-voiced this amp and for me I did not like the re-voicing. To make it short the amps low end is muddy this only gets worse using the low power setting. I returned the amp. Was suprised to find this amps low end to be so loose and muddy.

Great Upgrade
What is your opinion of this product?
Footswitchable effects loop and Master Level for each channel are a great upgrade to the old DSL 100 head. The tone controls seem more powerful and the clean channel is nice and bright probably partly due to V1 and a smaller plate brighter preamp tube in the number 1 spot. Also, the Bias Pots are on top of the chassis for easy access to biasing with on top bias measuring points. Ok its about tone and from a cleaner brighter clean channel to the overdrives , ya it's got all the tones Marshall is famous for. Great harmonic articulate grinds and even blues sag can be had by dropping to the low power mode and cut the master volume and kick up the reverb and you got a blues amp. Watch the 'no talking' demo to see the versatility of these HR amps. Yes, it's a keeper and don't forget the midi control of the amp now too !!! Marshall did good !!!!
