Product Description

Carrying a distinct vintage-inspired design and updated like the D-18 a few years ago, the redesigned 000-18 offers many of the features found in our pre-war era guitars. The 000-18, which has a beautiful aging toned top in Sitka spruce, is married with mahogany back and sides. The body is edged with tortoise binding and complemented with a polished finish. The 24.9” short scale model’s neck features a modified low oval profile with Performing Artist taper, with a width of 1-3/4” at the nut and 2-3/16” string spacing for easy playability. Nickel open-geared tuners with butterbean knobs are found with a rosewood headplate, which displays a large old style Martin logo.

What is your opinion of this product?
Redesigned to the pre-war specs, nice size with all the sound. I didn't want a huge Dreadnaught, but something I could set up several different ways. Its a picker, great for lead and perfect to get that Dreadnaught full sound. It is all there.

What is your opinion of this product?
I was seriously looking for a Martin that I could play every day and keep as my go-to forever. The 000-18 fits that bill for me to a tee, it's my everyday heirloom. No extravagant frills just a solid half hog that waits for you to make her sing and man does her voice sound lovely. Superior craftsmanship, excellent customer service and that Martin tone. Every day this instrument brings a smile to my face and I would highly recommend to any serious player. No hassles in purchase through AMS and payments have been a breeze. I'll be buying again and again.

Just what I was looking for!
What is your opinion of this product?
I was looking for a smaller companion to my Martin D-18 and this, Martin 000-18, fits the bill. Its smaller size, both in body and scale length, is extremely comfortable to play. And, while it is smaller, it doesn't lose much in volume than its bigger brother. I love this guitar and I couldn't be happier.

The Perfect Guitar
What is your opinion of this product?
I love this guitar. This is the perfect mid size guitar with well balanced bass, mid range and trebles. The action if very low and the playability due to its short scale is perfect for me. The craftsmanship is superb and gorgeously finished. I will be selling several of my other acoustics as non come close to my Martin ooo-18. I would highly recommend this guitar to a friend.
