Product Description

This Grand Concert, slope shoulder model is constructed with a Sitka spruce top and mahogany patterned high-pressure laminate back and sides, which offers a greater tolerance from fluctuating temperatures so you can take your guitar anywhere without worry. The high-performance tapered neck is constructed from a rust-colored birch laminate. A faux tortoise pickguard and Richlite fingerboard and bridge complete this model. The 00LX1AE is complete with Fishman Sonitone electronics to make it the perfect acoustic-electric guitar at an affordable price.

What is your opinion of this product?
After reviewing dozens of different models, I'm very pleased that I decided on this Martin. The features, price point, and look were exactly what I wanted. The body shape is extremely comfortable. I'm an average sized person and didn't find myself having to reach over this guitar. I like that balance and weight very much, but the best features would be the natural top and new laminate style sides. Acoustic guitars that have to travel to gigs, especially here in the Northeast, go through a lot of temperature variations and knowing that this guitar was built to accommodate that was a huge selling point for me. The Fishman electronics are excellent and the simplicity also made this guitar an instant favorite. The overall sound, both unamplified and through the PA is top notch and I haven't found myself searching for myself in the mix. If you are looking for a lot of guitar but aren't looking to break the bank, check this Martin out!
