Huge sound for the size

Product Review

Sounds like a far larger guitar, great bass response. Wonderful guitar for finger picking, but a great strummer as well. Probably the best guitar in martin's 15 series, holds its own compared to my 00018.

Great Guitar

Product Review

Bought this guitar as a backup and it slowly became my main axe. I had an LR baggs anthem installed and she’s good to go. Sounds great, plays great. I like not having a lot of fancy options. Solid wood looks and sounds so good, cannot recommendation enough.

In love

Product Review

Where do I begin. If you think this model and the 14 fret version are comparable, well they're not. Sonically this guitar soars. The sustain is incredible and the balance of low end bass, punchy mids and just enough sparkle on the highs is left desiring more. I own several spruce top/rosewood back and side guitars and lately since I bought this last year it has been collecting dust, respectively. The natural smooth finish is attractive and when I received mine it was so new it smelled like mahogany throughout the house. A year later the smell of the guitar in an open room still lures me to play more and more. The wide spacing is a fingerpickers dream.. But don't fret, this guitar can be strummed and not left wanting. It just really shines as a fingerpicking instrument. I bought it on a twelve payment plan and having that option was really a nice provision for owning the instrument sooner than later. if could use a setup but I haven't had the will to part with it to get it done. Nbd.

Awesome's a keeper!

I really have to say that this guitar is made with awesome craftmanship (seriously). It's all solid wood and meticulously made! You can see the the care and time that went into it.

Not sure yet - but I do know Martin. I've owned quite a few of them in my day and still do - they hold up very well as time goes on. They actually get better as they age. This one should be no exception (I hope).

Your general opinion of this product.

Truly a work of art. I really mean it. It's perfect for gigging or just simply back porch strumming. Either way, you can't go wrong with this model. I should know, I've been playing for about 35 years now and have owned a boat load of guitars!

The feel is nice and comfortable. Easy on the arms and torso. Finger wise, it's smooth - no harsh fret ends, in fact, just the opposite. The neck has that soft hand shape contour that we all like. This guitar is very user friendly. Take it from a musician who really knows!

A good decent bass response for the size. Solid mid range and a bright clear treble to her. I've tried it all: fingerpick, flat- pick, name it and she responded nicely (for real)! Bottom line; she took what I gave her and played and sounded great. I was really happy with her!

Satin, but flawless!! It really has an appealing look and finish. Like something out of the 1940's(very cool). I get alot of compliments especiall with the slot head - nostalgia all the way!

Action was good right out of the case. At this point, no professional setup needed. Surprisingly, they did a good job on her action - nice and close like I like it, but yet with some wiggle room for height if you need a bit. Overall, you'll like what you'll get - they made some good adjustments regarding the action. I'm very satisfied!
