    Product Description

Introducing the Majesty, John Petrucci's first neck through signature guitar built in the U.S. by Ernie Ball Music Man. The Majesty features a mahogany neck through a basswood body with a polished ebony fretboard. What appears to be a carbon fiber shield on top of the body is actually laser etched maple. The lower cutaway of the body provides incredible access to the upper frets, made of stainless steel. A piezo equipped custom Music Man tremolo is capable of generating acoustic tones while the DiMarzio Illuminators and 20dB gain boost provide searing tones for leads.

"The Majesty guitar symbolizes the very reason why I am so proud to be a Music Man artist. I had the idea for this guitar a couple of years ago but it is because of their innovative spirit and dedication to the art of guitar building that it is now a reality. I am so grateful that I am able to collaborate with the best guitar company on the planet and so incredibly proud that together we have created what is to me, the perfect musical instrument for guitar players. I really hope you get a chance to play one and am confident that you will feel the same!" - John Petrucci

What is your opinion of this product?
everything about this guitar is perfect for me. The pickups and the neck thru design give it a wonderful warm tone as well as the crunch you need for any style of music. The clean tone and piezo pickup are incredible as well

Best mass market guitar available today
What is your opinion of this product?
OK, $3K is a fairly high price for what is essentially a mass produced guitar but it blows away any Gibson or Fender in a similar price range. It compares favorably to some "hand made/custom" guitars that would sell for double the price or higher.
