    NEW LOOK. SAME FLOW.
The MASCHINE MK3 takes Native Instrument's classic groovebox workflow and makes it faster and more intuitive. Optimized based on customer research, it’s packed with new features to boost your speed and increase your focus – all without breaking the workflow you love.

    BIGGER PADS
Big, bold, and in your face, the larger pads create more room for complex moves like flams and rolls. New technological updates make the pads more sensitive to lighter touches, for more expressive playing. And since the center-to-center distance is exactly the same, your muscle memory and workflow don’t have to change.

    FULL COLOR, HI RES SCREENS
With two full-color displays and the four-directional push encoder, you can browse sounds, FXs, plug-ins, and instruments with a tactile, one-handed, completely visual workflow – simply find the thumbnail and load directly from the hardware. Plus, the high-res screens let you get more precise with your mixing, see an overview of your arrangement, or zoom in on waveforms to slice samples like a surgeon.

    STUDIO-GRADE AUDIO INTERFACE
MASCHINE now comes with a studio-grade, 96kHz / 24-bit audio interface for pristine sound. Simply patch in a synth or add a dynamic mic for quick recording and sampling. Stereo line and MIDI ports make it a perfect centerpiece for any studio. Plus, it’s USB-powered, so you can record anywhere with your laptop – or plug in the included power supply unit for brighter pads.

    FASTER WORKFLOW

The new hardware layout cuts through the clutter to help you stay focused and get your ideas out fast. Instead of being hidden behind a shift-function button, some of the most-used features and functions can now be accessed directly with one touch.

    8 TOUCH SENSITIVE KNOBS
Go beyond tweaking with eight touch sensitive knobs. Touch once to activate special contextual menus, such as tag clouds, sound settings, and FX parameters. You can also map your most frequently used FX, instruments, or plug-in parameters to macros with the touch of a button.

SMART STRIP FOR NEW WAYS TO PLAY
The Smart Strip opens up MASCHINE to whole new ways of playing. Use it like a keyboard wheel to pitch-bend and modulate sounds. Add new sonic textures, builds, or transitions with advanced performance FX like stutter and scratch. Or strum samples, synths, and drums like a guitar.

    PLAY TO YOUR OWN BEAT
MASCHINE’s 16 ultra-responsive pads makes it fun and easy to play. In Pad mode, drum in beats or lightly brush sounds on the 16 ultra-responsive pads. Switch to Keyboard mode and play like a piano. And in Step mode, program sounds precisely where you want them, and automate pitch, volume, LFO, or any other parameter step by step for incredibly intricate and musical results in record time.

BROWSE SOUNDS WITHOUT BREAKING THE FLOW
MASCHINE’s ultra-fast, tag-based browser gives your creativity no time to slow down. Use MASCHINE’s two full-color display screens plus the 4-directional push encoder to quickly find any project, group, sound, instrument, effect or sample. Then simply load it and go.

SAMPLE, SLICE, PLAY – IN THE STUDIO OR ON THE GO
With a professional-grade, 96kHz / 24-bit built-in audio interface, MASCHINE makes sampling fluid and simple – grab audio, slice it, and shape it. The USB-powered hardware gives you total control, and the hi-res displays let you slice samples with laser precision. Experienced beatheads will love the vintage sampling modes.

    KICKSTART NEW IDEAS
Whether you’re a pro or just making your first beat, MASCHINE helps you spark new ideas without disrupting your flow. Automatically generate random new melodies and drum patterns with the Variation Engine. And discover exciting new transitions and builds with morphing between parameter snapshots using Lock.

DISCOVER UNIQUE WAYS TO PERFORM AND PLAY
The Smart Strip opens up unique new ways to perform and play. Use it like a pitchwheel to bend and modulate sounds. Add new tactile dimensions to Perform FX, like stutter, echo, and flanger. Or strum samples, sounds, and drums like a guitar to discover new sonic textures.

    ROBUST PRODUCTION SOFTWARE
MASCHINE software comes stocked with everything you need to turn your ideas into complete tracks. Whether you’re sketching and arranging your track, or mixing it down and performing, MASCHINE keeps you moving from one step to the next – without breaking your creative stride.

    A WORLD OF SOUND
MASCHINE comes with an acclaimed 8 GB library of high-quality samples, sliced loops, drum kits, instruments, patterns, and projects right out of the box. Plus, it also includes KOMPLETE 11 SELECT – 11 premium instruments like, MASSIVE and MONARK, and effects – for a sonic palette as vast as your imagination.

More than worthy successor to the MK2
    Product Rating
What is your opinion of this product?
I have a Maschine Studio and a Maschine Jam, both stay in my lab 24-7. I was looking for a used MK2 and a bus powered interface to take on the go without having to plug anything into the wall. Luckily I hesitated long enough, I pre-ordered this thing the day I saw it announced because it killed 2 birds with one stone, maybe a few more birds went down because I also didn't have to give up my displays, and I got a touch strip, only one, but it is better designed (physically) than the touch strips on the Jam, also I prefer the horizontal rather than vertical orientation. For me the redesigned pads are much more playable, but I use all 5 digits on my right hand, if you're more of the one/two finger on each hand type then it probably doesn't make a difference to you. The dedicated pad mode/keyboard/chord buttons come in handy. The interface has been pretty solid so far, my gripe would be the volume knobs for the headphones and line out, they're a little hard to get a grip on to turn them

    All hype, not a need
What is your opinion of this product?
If you're just starting out it’s great, but if your a vet it’s garbage and just another controller that will get outdated with updates. The software is the main focus not hardware. It’s always good to get something new but this is just that something new but it makes no difference which controller you have you can accomplish the same results. Don’t be a hardware junkie save your money.

This is the best one yet!
What is your opinion of this product?
From the Mikro to the Maschine Studio, this is the best iteration yet! Form all of the commands that you use to use shift for, that’s all gone. You now have dedicated buttons for all of the pesky shift shortcuts you use to have to use. The screens let you not have to keep looking up at your computer screen. They are bright and very clear and vivid. The audio interface is such a plus and works great! I think the only way they could make it better is with the MK4 is to not have a computer to hook it up to and it be a stand alone unit. I would highly recommend this as an upgrade even if you have a studio. It made me sell my Maschine Jam. I no longer need it. Buy it, you won’t regret it!
