    Product Description

Introducing A Slimmed Down Direct Descendant of PreSonus StudioLive, The 16.0.2!
Following in the footsteps of the StudioLive 24.4.2 and 16.4.2, the PreSonus StudioLive 16.0.2 offers 16 channels and the same amazing performance as the larger scale StudioLive Digital Mixers for smaller applications. More Compact than 2 square feet, StudioLive 16.0.2 offers 8 mono input channels and 4 stereo channels and provides 12 XMAX Class A solid-state mic preamps… 13 total, if you include the talkback mic!

The included VSL control software features Smaart Measurement Technology to help you quickly get your system up and running with a measurement. Smaart also gives you incredible features that enable you to vastly improve the quality of your sound system like line check, room measurement, feedback analyzer, system delay, and Spectragraph to help you kill feedback instantly!

Don't let its size fool you; the 16.0.2 is jam-packed with features and processing power, employs the same workflow and easy-to-use mixing-surface design as the bigger StudioLive boards, and sounds every bit as good, with the same high-definition, wide-dynamic-range, digital converters.

New Virtual StudioLive (Mac/Win), StudioLive Remote (iPad)
and All-New QMIX (iPhone/iPod Touch) app
    lets you remote-control StudioLive 16.0.2.
PreSonus Virtual StudioLive software for Mac and Windows provides bidirectional control of the StudioLive 16.0.2 digital mixer. Now you can see and control the most-used mixer parameters onscreen, including channel, subgroup, aux send, and main levels, as well as Fat Channel, effects, and graphic EQ settings.

Control the mixer with a mouse or watch VSL update when you adjust the hardware. Drag Fat Channel presets onto all 16 channels in seconds. Mute or solo every channel with a sweep of the mouse. Apply a new Scene to the whole mixer just by dragging it on VSL from a list you see at all times. Collect and trade Scenes with other StudioLive users. This is huge!

To top it off, you can control VSL - and therefore, your StudioLive mixer - from an Apple iPad. With PreSonus StudioLive Remote for iPad (free from the Apple App Store), you can walk around the venue and tweak the mix, in real time, from any location, fixing monitor mixes from the stage and eliminating sonic problems on the spot.

130 quality signal processors at your fingertips.
The 16.0.2's Fat Channel is well stocked with compressors, limiters, gates, phase reverse, high-pass filters, and 3-band semi-parametric EQ. Two stereo, 32-bit floating-point effects processors deliver delay and reverb effects.

Our first compact mixer with MIDI control from a footpedal.
Moreover, a glance at the rear panel reveals that Junior offers something the two bigger boards don't: MIDI In and Out. You can recall Scenes from a DAW using MIDI Program Changes, control the main output volume and effects level, and even mute effects between songs—all thanks to the magic of MIDI control.

What was then is now: complete store and recall.
Two factors work against getting that Perfect Mix with an analog mixer. First, the Perfect Mix can be hard to reproduce a week, day, or hour after you perfect it. And second, a good mix should be dynamic: levels, effects, and EQ should be tailored to each song or segment of the show, service, or presentation. StudioLive solves this problem by letting you save all of your digital settings for quick setup and recall.

After Creating the west coast sound on 4 track I love this board
What is your opinion of this product?
1n 1986 My first studio was a four track, and a bass with a cool roland key board, since then I have hjad several othertyos of equipment in my home studio, I had the roland 1680 , I had the pro tolls Mbox, cheap one though, I had another inner face by focusrite, they were all cool, but the Board the 16.02 Takes my studio to another Level. I have the abilty to create great sounds as a creator and the 16.20 has the abilty to take my creation and turn it into radio quality music, I use this board in My home studio, you can here samples, the first song I will release to itunes in a week or two with this board will be a track that I have had trouble with!! it is on itunes now listen now and Listen after it will hit radio with this board, The song is Honey Girl

    A Great Value
What is your opinion of this product?
Well built, excellent fit and finish. I using this for my DJ and live sound business with an eye towards recording and music production. If you're coming from the analog world, you'll have a short learning curve. I used to utilize an external equalizer and compressor. Not anymore, equalizing, compression, limiting, 2 effects engines, it's everything I want in one package. When you consider the cost of an analog board with this many inputs, all the external processing gear, and the live/recording software (which is included with this mixer), It's a tremendous value!

    Incredible sound
What is your opinion of this product?
I was fortunate enough to get this as a scratch and dent for $699 and saved $300. This thing blows my Mackie ProFX mixer away easily. The difference in sound quality isn't even close. My nearfield monitors sound better, my PA speakers sound better with less power applied to them. They sound musically punchier and smoother than ever. There's plenty of headroom when setting levels because the preamps are incredibly clean. The rule of thumb is not let signals go into the red with digital recording, however this mixer defies all the rules. to top it of it's extremely easy to operate. I tried the the Presonus Remote software on my ipad at a live event and didn't even need to run a snake box for the the cables from the stage to the mixer to position the mixer in the sweet spot. I left the mixer on stage and used the ipad to set levels at the front of house. No more having to be a slave to the mixers location to get optimum listening position. Awesome feature.
