Great value
Product Rating

Product Review

Made in U.S.A., great fretwork, excellent feeling satin neck (smooth as butter), not too fat not too thin, just right. Not a flashy guitar, probably not a guitar you get for its look, but it certainly sounds and feels great.

Guitar came in flawless

Product Review

Let's see what wasn't there to like. Guitar was package decently which would be what I liked lease about this purchased. The guitar was perfect right out the box. There we're no flaws on the body, pickguard or any other part of it. Usually I have to change the action or intonation on the guitar ,but in this case I didn't. I was actually surprised at how low the action was on this particular guitar. Lots of tonal option. The humbuckers sound amazing and the split pots can get you that Fendery single coil tone. I do prefer the satin necks. It makes playing a lot easier for me as my hands sweat. I've own the guitar for 2 weeks so far and am very happy with my purchase.

Similar to a Gibson Les Paul Studio

Product Review

Easy to play on,not heavy around the shoulder, the pups have a nice warm tonal range, coil split gives a nice strat sound.Bird inlays would have set it off, but it's a nice looking guitar.

Amazing quality

Product Review

I love the tone of this guitar. It works great for almost any kind of style. From clean style jazz to heavy metal. That’s exactly the type of versatility that you get from hum-buckers. Another great feature that you get with this guitar is the locking tuners. An absolute dream to re-string.

Finally I’m a PRS owner!

Product Review

Now I know why all the fuzz! It’s a matter of actually playing one and then understanding the feel and technical details that this guitar has. I’m so happy that I didn’t even thought about changing strings yet, which I normally do right away. And yes you can go from Straty tones to full Les Paul mode. Light weight but without feeling weak. I guess it’s exactly like I hoped. PRS has their own “thing” going for them and it’s definitely a good thing. Play one and you will understand! Very happy! Ah, satin finish doesn’t bother me at all. Kinda rustic vibe that goes along with my Rock and Roll taste anyway!

Absolutely amazing

Product Review

I pre-ordered this guitar thinking it would take a while to go back in stock. It was actually shipped two days after! Once it arrived, I just had to tune the guitar and it was ready to roll. The strings it came with feel nice, and the guitar was perfect to roll right out of the box. The locking tuners are a nice touch, and you can make all types of modifications to your sound with the 3-way pickup switch and coil splits! It is just amazing. I love the fact that I can make it sound strat-ey. I love the satin finish since it looks vintage, but it maintains its PRS prestige. AMAZING!

My New Favorite

Product Review

First off out of the box and in a gig bag mind you was in tune that's a first for me ever not saying they all will be but mine was for what it is a stripped down nothing fancy finish wise or binding or inlay even has dots but that's ok also work horse its perfect at that price point if prs can build these this good it makes me want to and eventually will drop the 3800 for a core model because they have to be completely awesome and inspiring well done prs. This is money well spent on a great no frills guitar do your self a favor and pick one up and see.

Fantastic Guitar

Product Review

The sound of this compares favorably to my McCarty and Standard 22 for a fraction of the price. If you don't mind the lack of gloss and shine from this model and just want a workhorse of a guitar, check one out.
