Product Description

The new 245"S" pickups have been updated to deliver more clear warm tones. The SE Zach Myers has enough features to satisfy even the most demanding musicians. The resonance of the semi-hollow body paired with the smooth feel of the satin finish neck will make an immediate impression in your hands.

PRS Guitars introduced the SE Series in 2001 in an effort to bring high quality, high value guitars to the market. Popular with professional, casual, and beginning players alike, the SE Series has grown considerable since its introduction both in the style of models offered and in the detailed quality of the instruments. The evolution continues with all maple top models in the SE lineup getting a new look, sound and feel for 2017.

New Look
The PRS SE Zach Myers headstock is getting a striking remake for 2017. The new design features Paul Reed Smith's signature with the SE logo on headstock while the model name has moved to the truss rod cover. This change is a bold endorsement of the series, directly reflecting PRS' pride in the SE brand.

"I’ve been with PRS for 12 years. This is the best guitar I have ever played," – Zach Myers, Shinedown. Zach Myers, lead guitarist of the multi-platinum rock band Shinedown, picked up a PRS Custom 22 at the age of fifteen and announced his first SE signature model in 2010. As a guitarist who has rocked PRS on the stage and teched for several PRS bands, Myers has an intimate understanding of how a guitar should feel and what the build quality should be.

A Keeper
What is your opinion of this product?
Been playin 45+ years and have owned High end stuff Gibson’s, Strats Mine is the Trampas green and it is a beautiful guitar, build and finish is first rate no blemishes. I play classic rock blues/blues rock it is well suited for all. I was surprised that this model came with an adjustable tail piece, as most PRS SEbseeies are just compensated tps, that is a huge plus for me. I had trepidation about the neck I once owned aLes Paul with the 50s profile neck and hated it because I don’t have very long fingers, but this PRS though thicker than I’m used to is very comfortable to play. The stock pick ups are pretty good and I don’t feel the need to change them, though I may down the road. Two things I did change, string gage to 10s (came with 9s.) and the tuners. it comes with beautifully matched kluson style tuners whichnwork fine, I swapped them for quality locking tuners in the same style, just a personal preference and doesn’t alter the appearance. A quality PRS at more affordable price

So glad I took the leap!
What is your opinion of this product?
I hesitated purchasing this guitar but all the reviews I found were stellar and AMS’s four pay plan tipped the balance. A MIK PRS might seem to be a contradiction but it’s the real deal! I used to work at Chuck Levin’s Washington Music Center in the 80’s when Paul was only producing a few guitars a day and Chuck was buying them as fast as he could. Since I was a lowly stock boy I could only fondle and admire these amazing instruments. Now I have one! I hold no illusions that some of the materials are not the quality of their American cousins (plastic birds, veneer top), but the care taken with the build quality is evident right out of the box! The Trampas Green Curley Maple is really sweet. The satin neck feels so natural in my hand it practically disappears. The action was a bit high for me but adjusted smoothly. The neck relief was spot on and every fret was dressed smooth as glass. Sounds as sweet as it looks and feels!

Amazing guitar with great tone. Just one minor issue.
What is your opinion of this product?
First I can not say how much I love this guitar. The tone and looks are to die for. I have everything from Gibson, Fender and G&L and this thing holds its own with the USA guitars. Now for the only issue I had with the guitar was the fret finishing. Most likely for the climate change from Korea to America the frets sprouted so slightly. Most players may not even notice but I'm a little OCD so that was the first thing I noticed when I played it. Simple fix with a little painters tape and supper fine polishing pad. After that was taken care of in about an hour of time new set of string and set up the way I like I have not picked up my Gibson LP in over a week now. I will say for the price this guitar is well worth it. I would recommend this guitar to any one because it is simply amazing for under $700. Like I said the frets were not a big deal and simple fix with tons of You Tube videos if you need them. I have even done this to guitars twice the price so I can not knock this

better than expected
What is your opinion of this product?
Came set up ready to play out of the box. Was surprised how well the thicker neck fit me, I normally play Tele-type guitars. Good tone, new pickups have a brighter/snappy tone than your average humbucker. This is definitely a keeper for me. I will be switching to a heavier gauge string though.(came with 9s going 10s).
