Product Description

The ultra-compact Wireless GO™ is a digital wireless microphone system which is unique in its clip’n’go versatility, incredibly small form-factor, and unmatched price accessibility. It’s the perfect wireless mic solution for content creators in all disciplines: filmmakers, on-camera presenters, news-gatherers, vloggers and more.

Rode Wireless GO™ Wireless Microphone System Features
  • Operates as both a clip-on microphone or belt-pack transmitter for a lavalier/headset microphone.
  • Built-in omnidirectional condenser microphone delivers broadcast-quality sound.
  • Up to 70m range (line-of-sight), but optimised for shorter-range operation in congested radio-frequency environments.
  • Up to 7 hours on a full charge, including a battery saver mode.
  • TX and RX have built-in rechargeable batteries, charged via USB-C.
  • 3-stage output pad: 0, -6dB and -12dB.
  • Use up to 8 systems in one location.
Small package. Big result
The Wireless GO system is the epitome of a ‘small wireless microphone’. Both the microphone/transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) weigh only 31g each. The TX works as a stylish clip-on microphone or as the world’s smallest beltpack for a RØDE lavalier microphone – perfect for content creation, filmmaking, to-camera or onstage presentation, vlogging, YouTubing, streaming and more.

Professional and easy
The Wireless GO system auto-pairs in 3 seconds and transmits via RØDE’s all-new Series III digital 2.4GHz transmission that is optimised for shorter range operation in dense RF and Wi-Fi environments, but also offers a line-of-sight range of up to 70m. The TX transmits broadcast-grade audio either on its own, thanks to the built-in condenser microphone’s excellent isolation and transparency, or with a lavalier mic via the 3.5mm TRS input.

Serious Wireless
The Wireless GO RX features a dual-purpose clip-mount so you can either clip it onto an item of clothing or camera strap, or slide the RX securely into the camera’s cold shoe. Plug the RX into your camera or recorder via the 3.5mm TRS output cable and tailor the output to your camera or recorder with the 3-stage gain control. The Wireless GO RX is ultra-compact and super-lightweight, making your rig that much easier to carry.

All-in-one for run & gun
With the Wireless GO, content creators can worry less about complicated technical set-up and concentrate on what they care about – filming great content. Whether reporting in the field, presenting at conferences or to-camera, or creating content for your business, the Wireless GO TX is the simplest wireless microphone in the world. Power it up, pair it, clip it onto your shirt, blouse, tie or jacket and GO. It works tucked discretely under the fabric or as a cool “tech-cessory” on display.

Versatile precision
Designed and manufactured at the RØDE facility in Sydney Australia, the Wireless GO delivers serious audio in an ultra-compact form factor – the perfect microphone for creators of any level of experience. Filmmakers, educators, business people – the Wireless GO Digital Wireless Microphone System is the first choice for anyone creating great-sounding content.

A must have for every level of videographer

Product Review

This is a very useful piece of gear to have in your “bag”. If you only shoot occasional DSLR videos or are a professional ENG shooter like me, this is a flexible piece of gear. I use it for an easy-to-place and simple-to-hide lavalier to do quick interviews. This is a new tool that allows you to move fast and keep it simple. It also allows you to avoid frequency conflicts in those environments that limits what vhf and uhf frequencies you can use, if any. They operate on a FCC cleared 2.4gb band. This system is not able to keep a good signal at great distance or out of sight of the receiver. But, it is solid in those situations where most audio with your video is needed. I just bought my second set and started using two at a time. The built-in microphone has great sound that competes well with the pro lavaliers I use from Sennheiser and Shure. If you are a pro, it can’t do everything you will need, but at this price ($199.00) it is a must get for flexibility. It’s a little tricky to operate the power button on the receiver, but I got used to it. I use it with a Panasonic P2 Camera at work using a 1/8” to XLR adapter and with a personal Panasonic GH4 directly with the included cable It works great on both. I can’t see how anyone would regret having these to use. If you use a go-pro or just use you phone to do social media video posts, this will give you great narrative audio. Although you may need one of the many different Rode adapter cables to match your needs. They cost less than $10. I did purchase a couple sets of shorter (3”) usb-a to usb-c charging cords so I can fit everything into the little black pouch that comes with the set. Keep a little usb charger with you and you’ll always be charged up. These actually last me through a whole day of shooting. Around seven hours is the estimated battery time and my experience reflects that.

This was a gift for my husband and he lives it.

Product Review

This was a gift for my husband and he lives it. He stated the sound quality is great. Receiver had no problem picking up the signal from the transmitter. He is even considering purchasing another one.

The future of audio!

Product Review

This set up is long overdue but I am glad that it finally has arrived. Though the Rode Wireless Go lavaliere mics are incredibly easy to set up and use be sure to run it through an audio recorder before sending to the camera otherwise you may feel a little disappointed with audio quality. The reason being is that most Cameras have crappy pre-amps for the mic inputs. I used it with my Sony A99 ii camera and the sounds was a little muffled. But when I used it with my Zoom R16 battery operated mixer I was completely floored by how much better the sound was. I plan on buying at least 7 more ;)
