GK-3 guitar pick-up versus GK-3b(bass) pick-up.

Your general opinion of this product.

Considering it's made of plastic,it is very robust.Make sure you put the bass gently on a stand, and it's very recommendable to screw the pick-up on the bass.

For bass sounds it is limited, think that when playing in a band the other members will want to hear low (bass-notes),unless you choose split sounds e.g.organ with bass.It would be a good idea to include 9v power through 13 pin cable for active basses.

Once fitted it is very easy to use.(5)

I personnally think the price is a little expensive.

When compared to the guitar(gk3)pick-up it is not very versatile, and the time lag is huge(late),probably due to the nature of the low frequencies. Some sounds are very good, but they are few.I love the fretless patch when mixed with the real bass.
