What is your opinion of this product?
I started on a dreadnought that was too big for me. I'm an average size woman but prefer a smaller body guitar. This folk/classical size is perfect. I installed a strap button at the heel for standing, but it was perfect out of the box for playing seated. The laminated wild cherry has a striking, unusual appearance and gets lots of comments. The sound is bright but not brash, and the guitar responds especially well to fingerpicking and using a capo. Action and intonation are wonderful. The guitar also sounds good in drop D and open G tunings. I also like the enclosed tuners and the Seagull headstock. When the guitar arrived, it took only 2 tunings to stabelize. I'll be trying different strings for different sounds, but the factory strings are high quality, reliable and sound fine. This guitar is everything I expected in a songwriting guitar and one for other vocal accompaniment, and more. The price is low, but value is very high.
