The Seymour Duncan Woody SA-3SC is a single coil pickup that features a natural acoustic sound with excellent string to string balance and very high feed- back resistance.
Low noise, high output, easy installation, with no marring of your guitar. An attached 14 foot studio quality cable & a cloth drawstring storage bag are included.

Applications: Quick-mount, passive, magnetic soundhole pickup.
Description: Moderate output, instant-mount, single coil pickup housed in maple cover and double potted. The tone is warm and rich with no 60-cycle hum. Great for strumming and delicate fingerstyle playing. Includes studio-quality 14’ cable.
Complete Setup: Plugs into any amplifier, however, for optimal tone, plug into an acoustic guitar amplifier, P.A., or mixing console.
Guitars: Acoustic guitars with sound holes between 3.85 and 4.10 inches.

Duncan Rocks !

What is your opinion of this product?

I was using a Dean Markley Pro Mag SC-1 which sounded good, but not good enough for my tastes . I decided to give the Woody a shot and I'm glad that I did. This pickup brings out the true tone and nuances of your guitar without any hum or feedback. Great investment. But then again, it's a Seymour Duncan so what do you expect ?

Wonderful sound, and Easy to use

Wonderful....easy to install, sounds great....not perfect, but you can adjust on your amp. No drilling, or inserting into guitar cavity.....Great product.

Alot of Bang for Your Buck

I only rated this product a 3 on quality because I have only just got it and used it once. If it continues to perform as it has, then that rating will go up.

Your general opinion of this product.

I was amazed at how good this pick up sounded. I am using it on a $200.00 Ibanez acoustic and it sounds great. Easy to install and remove. For the price, it is WELL worth it.

Had to reverse the way the instructions say to put the pickup in. They say with the cord pointing at the bridge, bottom of the sound hole. It just gets in the way of my right hand. So I reversed it, and the cord comes out by the neck on the top of the sound hole. Works just as well.

The pickup will sound how you shape it. With EQ, or amp settings, or effects pedals, it responds well with all.

Looks like new.

Out of the box, it was as advertised.
