Product Description

The Warwick RockBass Corvette Double Buck bass provides superb resonance, clarity, and dynamics as well as beautiful looks. Crafted in state-of-the-art factories and implementing Warwick’s classic designs, DNA and components the RockBass Series offers high quality instruments at an entry level price.

Built to Warwick’s strict specifications, each Rockbass is meticulously crafted and inspected before shipping to deliver the true Warwick experience. The entire range of Warwick Rock Bass instruments now feature the Warwick 2 Piece Bridge, with a break angle that provides optimum tone and intonation with each string being adjustable in seconds. The Just-A-Nut III is an innovation introduced by Warwick in 2007 and is the standard nut used for all series of Warwick and Rock Bass instruments.

The Warwick Rockbass Corvette $$ Bass Guitar is beautifully made and delivers plenty of that characteristic low growl for which Warwick basses are famous. As with all Warwick basses, the Rockbass Corvette $$ is crafted from premium tonewoods throughout: an alder body, a maple neck and a wenge fingerboard. Dual humbucking pickups and 4 control knobs provide great tone and flexible control in the studio and on stage.

Incredible value!!

Extremely well-made instruments with high-quality hardware and electronics you won't find in any other brand. The neck joint is one of the tightest, most seemless I've ever seen!

The incredibly powerful MEC humbuckers, combined with the versatility of series/parallel switching and the infinitely adustable 3D bridge and Just-A-Nut

Extremely powerful, and very aggressive. Sounds particularly wonderful for hard rock, metal, and slap n pop funk

Your general opinion of this product.

You get your money's worth with this bass. This is really the only real option for Warwick fans who want that sound and look without the steep price tag of the German models.

Very comfortable with the rounded body edges, neck is nice and subtantial but not too fat.

The pickups are very hot in series mode. If you need something more mellow pulling the knobs up for parallel cuts the output bigtime. They tend to favor the bright and snappy side of the tonal spectrum but with huge low growl. Overall they sound amazing.

The nirvana black finish is absolutely gorgeous. Very prominent grain in the body looks great!

Action was comfy but the truss rod was way too tight right out the box. I backed it off a lot, raised the nut just a tad, lowered the D string a pinch and now the action is great and buzz free! The huge range of adjustment the Warwick hardware allows is a god-send. I wish every instrument was this adjustable.
