Perfect for what I needed
Product Rating

Product Review

I purchased the Zoom to use as a headphone amp for practice, but I've found it can be so much more! It is extremely well designed and user friendly. The effects are quiet, and can be customized to fit your tastes easily. Any tone, from shimmering clear bell tones to the most blistering rock tones are already there at the touch of a button. Although I've not used it in a live situation, I wouldn't hesitate. Well done!

Huge Disappointment

Product Review

I don't like giving a bad review of any musical equipment but, this product does not make the cut. None of the amp effects or amps or cabs sound even remotely close to the originals (I know as I have several of the amps and effects listed in the presets. I also have several loopers that I use live and this one...well...it just doesn't loop properly no matter what you do. Now the rhythm portion is just o.k. I mean, it will get you buy in a pinch. It took me two weeks to get a usable patch from this pedal that I was comfortable with. Honestly, my little "Vox amplug2", has a much better sound to it and it only has a couple effects and is one third the cost. I have several multi-effect pedals (Of course my Vox amplug2, Marshall code 50, Line 6 spider V, Blackstar id 10 and the Vamp 3) and each one of them sounds better than all the effects combined on this one pedal. In 1992 I had an inexpensive Zoom pedal (can't remember what the name was) and it was great. Get back to the drawing board guys or gals at Zoom... you can do allot better than this.
