Metal Sticks that aren’t Too “Heavy”

I’ve been using the Ahead metal sticks for quite a few years. I like them and have often wished that they’d come out with a lighter, thinner stick. The Ahead sticks up til now are very big and hard to get a “less loud/heavy” sound with. So I’d use a wood stick with nylon tip. I feel like the Ahead 7-A is exactly what’s needed to use a metal stick on every song. Being a narrower stick with a smaller tip, you get a more distinct sound. Needed for some apps. I highly rec them.

Very durable stick while still keeping a good natural feel. Allows for a very quick sticking and also let's you play hard when needed without breaking like many wood sticks this size would.

I feel like new drum sticks are one of those things that really take some time using them for you to be able to get an accurate read on them. But that being said, I'm really loving these sticks so far. Very well built and balanced. They've got great response and feel.
