This keyboard is a must have. Semi-weighted keys has a nice feel, the look and build was well thought out, the software and sounds are phenomenal and the functionality takes it to higher levels for live performance use. I highly recommend this controller for every producer/keyboardist out there.

I love the fact that this product comes with 10,000 sounds that work with my studio program. I really like the lights on the beat pads. Eventhough it's not a weighted keyboard it still has the feel of one. I definitely recommend this product.

Great controller! It took a minute to install all the software. I even had to reinstall the VIP software because it didn't work properly the first time. But once you get it installed it is worth the money.

The look is awesome! Premapped and ready for numerous DAWS. The keys feel very good, the layout is simple and useable, The ability to control my VST's on the Keyboard with the ADVANCE color lcd screen is really a great feature. To my surprise, Akai added a very good software called VIP with some really cool VST's included plus free additional plugins/extensions. This was a very positive addition to my digital arsenal.
