Good kit for the price. Is see why the hi hat was improved o. The SE model, it isn’t the most responsive. Good sounds and feel. Again great value for the money and do recommend it for someone looking for a practice kit at home or apartment.

It is great for beginners and transitional users. It has exceeded my expectations by a long shot. I can record my own drumming patterns, styles and several sounds. You can also plug it into any stereo device and when am in a noisy area, i can plug in my set of headphones. I can expand the components.

best part is the module. 1 week in and all is great. meets all my expectations for a great e-drum experience. only draw back i can think of is maneuvering through the modules UI.....this module is missing some settings from my DM10 experience but over time you can figure out how to manipulate and change settings for custom kits. worth a shot to invest in this kit if affordability and premium playability are high on your lists for an electronic kit

I have been a drummer for over 30 years I have an acoustic kit and another electric kit. This go around when I knew I wanted to buy an updated electric kit I struggled a little. Roland pricey but if I was going to spend the money and have a kit I wanted to be happy with my thought was just sink the cash and do it. I am so glad I bought this kit instead. I did have a problem with the snake but Alesis was on it gave me a dedicated person to resolve my issue. And the person who pushed for that was a AMS employee so all worked out. If you think this kit is substandard don’t solid heavy equipment. I would buy another tomorrow for practice cause I gig with my existing kit. Can’t tell you all the compliments I get. First kit I ever received so many compliments. Buy it u know u wanna

So I heard so many negative things about this set, but I bought it anyway. Well, I already regret it...sorta. Right out of the box the ride cymbal doesn’t work properly. I’ve contacted Alesis and have yet to get a response from them. Aside from that, the components that do work, are fantastic! The sounds are great! Everyone said there were issues with the hi hats, I haven’t had any issues at all. I’m very happy with this purchase, aside from the problem with the ride. If I can get that squared away I will be a very happy customer.

Seriously, they only regrets I have is NOT getting the pro. Would’ve been nice to have the other cymbals and extra Tom. I can piece it together, so not a deal breaker.
Honestly the set plays very nice. The module is easy to use. Creating your own kits took a little experimenting, but I figured it out.

This drumset is great for practicing for our band. We practice in a small room and we love not having it so loud. It is a great drum set but not sure if we would ever use it live. I would have preferred having a second crash cymbal. Otherwise.... very happy!

I first bought the Alesis $299 kit . I liked them so much I upgraded to the Alesis strike and man are they amazing. All my drummer friends love them as well and plan on getting some. Especially when I tell them how easy it is to get from American Music , And talk about show up at the door in no time . CRAZY FAST !!

Only reason I give 4 stars is because the false advertising, the picture shows a kick drum pedal and a hi-hat stand, later on on Christmas day adter I opened and start reading the instructions it says they were not included, so I order those and now I have to wait, if I would've known I would have ordered the next one up that has and extra tom, 2 more cymbals, hi-hat stand, bass drum pedal and also a throne.

At first just like many drummers that wanted an electronic kit, I was skeptical and hesitant to buy an Alesis kit.
After watching a bunch of youtube reviews and demos of the Strike kit,
I went for it. Good thing AMS has a 12month payment plan for it and I was able to get it in less than a week ??????
Out of the box, I upgraded the firmware in the module to v1.2 and tweaked the bass drum and hi hat retrigger/threshold settings. After that, it was ready to be used and the sounds built in are very useable compare to Roland TD30.
I owned it before and sold it after few months.
No complains in terms of sounds and the pads.
Sounds Amazing and the price is a winner.
