Product Review
I got this little guy to run my Moog Mother ecosystem and a Rhodes piano. It's heavy duty, crystal clear, plenty of headroom, the EQ is great, AUX/Loop is great. I've had a Mackie mixer in the past, this feels like a step up.

Very Nice Board - Great Construction - Great Value

Product Review
This board was bought to replace a Mackie1642 board. Comparing the two boards would be an apple-to-oranges comparison as the features are different. However, the A&H build quality and pre-amp sound is far superior, and the 100mm faders are outstanding. I'm giving it a 4-star as it hasn't been road tested yet. I'll re-rate if its still working well after 1 or 2 years.

Very dependable
It is super versatile...can be as good in live use as well as studio. The USB makes everything easy. You can also use the USB to add FX in a live mix situation!!
I was using it within minuets after opening and recording has been a breeze!!
Sounds great
Just got it so time will tell. Having used Allen&Heath in the past I am confident it will last a long time.
Your general opinion of this product.
Love it!! The preamps sound awesome, built super sturdy, it flat out rocks!

Zed ROCKS!

Build quality appears to very good as one would expect in an A&H desk.
USB port, 4 aux sends, swept mid. If I could anything it would be a dual swept mid on each mic channel.
If you're acquainted with any quality mixing desk you'll find the Zed 14 USB very intuitive.
Colorless as a mixing desk should be.
Haven't had it long enough to know how this particular will last. Given Allen & Heath's history I would expect many, many years of usefulness.
Your general opinion of this product.
This is an incredible bargain! It's what Mackies and Behringers want to be when they grow up.

I believe it is of really good qualiity--It's an Allen & Heath!
The USB interface is awesome! I am still working with the software and it is okay but upgrading the software is a definite!
Once I took it out of the box and READ THE MANUAL, things came together! It is a real cool board and exceeded my expectations
Great sound/tone is great--time will tell though.
So far, so good! I am not disappointed!
Your general opinion of this product.
Overall, this is a nice board for me since I just have a basic "idea studio".

ZED14 USB.....

Made well and dependable...
The best feature of this product allows for ease in my smaller production studio, where I create tracks... It's gives me the power I need, when I'm alone creating. I tend and only use it for private use.. I never use it to record clients.
The product is fairly easy to use. Some people are unaware, but this can be used with pro-tools., that was a plus.. As I migrated from pro-tools to cubase, to sonar... It did come with a Sonar disc, that was a plus.
Sound is crisp and clear.. Though this depends how you set the knobs...
I worked with alot of mixers and so far this one is built to last... Don't think you will have any problems as long as you use it properly..
Your general opinion of this product.
This is a product that is a must for Producers.. It's easy to travel with... It's plug and play.. and it's actually worth the $399... Though they could have threw in a few stereo cables...

Excellent Unit

Yes.
Flexible Routing and excellent sound. EQs, pre-amps and gain stages sound excellent with an almost undetectable noise floor.
It took a few reviews of the manual to understand the routing options but then I brain fart with this stuff so it could be easier than it seemed. I should mention the versatility of the routing made it a little more complicated but that is traded off against the routing options being really good.
Excellent. USB is only 16 bit but the recording quality is quite good. Sounds better at 16 bit than my MOTU at 24 bit. Also, the usb interface is bus-but just the USB interface. What this means is that, while you won't get sound without the unit plugged in and turned on, if you turn the unit off by accident while you're still in your DAW, you won't lose your connection to your interface and glitch out.
So far, perfect.
Your general opinion of this product.
Excellent product that, despite a new model with fx coming out practically as this one was being delivered, I have not regretted buying in the least. I use as a home studio mixer and live as a small format and it's up to either task admirably. Very Portable too.
