It stays in tune, slight neck adj cleaned up the nut it plays and sound really well its neck profile is like a Martin, it's build quality is equal to or better than a Taylor 14 model the electronics are so so over-all its actually very nice or perfect for a beginner or someone needing a second guitar for alt tunings

I bought this to play live gigs and to play around the house and so far it has been fantastic for the money. Wonderful sound both acoustically and through my Fishman loudbox. The one thing I would recommend which is my opinion is to change the strings on it. I just don’t like the Ernie balls. Other than that for the price point it competes with any high end guitar out there, so it really is an incredible pick up.

I bought this as an affordable move over from electric and am quite impressed at the quality and sound it produces. Out of the box it needed some minor tweaks, truss rod adjustment and bridge saddles a bit higher than I liked. But we all do those things to a new guitar. (we all have our preferences) But I'm amazed at the tone and the intonation at the 13th is spot on. From a $329 guitar?? Most of the other guitars in this price range sounded lacking, not this one. Wel built, great tone, and looks great too... yes, I'd buy another if something was to happen to this one...

This Alvarez is a terrific value. It has a nice rich, full sound (acoustically and plugged in), the playability is great, and it's easy on the wallet. The reason I gave it four stars is because the condition of the neck was unacceptable when I received it. It had serious buzzing on most strings within the first three frets, so much so that many notes wouldn't even sound. After several neck adjustments it was in good shape and had great action. But really, can't that be checked before shipping it out? Five stars otherwise.

Well made acoustic electric guitar at low price. No set up needed out of box also no damages. Sounds awesome plays great. Electric part of of acoustic sounds great also comes with 9v battery pre-installed.

This guitar compares to a more expensive Guitar! I enjoy playing it! I recommend this guitar highly to everyone! The wood on it is very nice combination! The tuner is great too! I get it back out it’s still in tune! Holds tune great! The electronics are great plugged in also!

I have owned this guitar a few months now and have waited long enough to give a honest review and not just a first impression. The sound quality from this guitar is simply amazing for this price range. I have heard much more expensive guitars that don't sound nearly as good. The finish is satin front and back, and is nicely done. The electronics are great! I play through an amplifier designed for keyboard use and love it. The small fly in the ointment is that the strings were a little high and made my fingers sore after a few minutes of playing. A local guitar shop did a neck adjust and also lowered the bridge in the saddle a little and now it plays as good as it sounds. This was not a big problem and the cost was minimal, but it was a problem that I had to have resolved. Others may not have had to do this, as I understand it, sometimes it happens.

First off in the picture, it looks like it has a gloss finish. It doesn't. A little stiff to play. If you're just starting out, it'll be tough on your fingers. Good sounding guitar, but after only 3 "live" performances, there was popping noise when engaging the tuner.
