Product Review I've had Ampeg SVT's since the 70's. This is the US made cabinet and it is solid and well made with a sound that every bassist would die for. These are the features that mean the most to me: - Nice Punch Sound - Will Fill Any Venue when Paired with the SVT Amp. - The casters are really solid and mounted to stay. - The cabinet is solid. This is exactly what I expected.

Product Review Ampeg has long been known for their legendary 8 X 10 cabinets and this Heritage model is the cream of the crop. It cost a lil more than the standard 810, But that extra cost reflects the craftsmanship and quality of materials in this all USA built cabinet. The hand wired USA Eminence drivers are tone monsters and are as good as any ever put into any Ampeg cab. The tilt back design and quality casters makes trasporting a breeze. If I had to pick something as a "Con", It would be the black sparkle grill cloth. It doesnt look bad at all, and in fact looks better in person than the photos depict. The problem lie in the fact that other than the Heritage head, nothing matches the asthetics of the cab.I did see however that now you can buy a replacement grill for '08 and later cabs that is the silver and blue to make it look like the 810 VR cabs. This is awesome as I always liked the look of the vintage reissue cabs, but I didnt like the fact that they were either Chinese or Vietnamese made. Now I can get the vintage look with a USA made cab !!

Product Review Ampeg has come a very long way. I have played them all. This heritage is extra special. The speaker in this cab are American hand made and wired eminence speakers. The wood from this cab is very unique compared to the others. Just a slight noticeable difference but enough to catch your ear. Its ampeg. Tried and true you can't go wrong.

Product Review I play country music. And this cab has a great response. The tone and feel on stage are the best I have ever played through. Being a larger cab. I was worried about weight and getting it on high stages. But the runners on the back make glide with an ease. I recommend ampeg 810 to all my bass playing friends.

Product Review I've put this up against my standard 810E and you can definitely hear a difference in tone with your amp settings staying the same. It seems to sound more clear in the upper mids and the lows stay tighter. Heritage feels like its higher quality too even with it being a little lighter than my standard. Sexy grill cloth tops off the overall package. Well worth the extra money!

Product Review Great bass cab for most applications. Hits hard and solid. Came on a truck packaged on a pallet, no damage, perfect condition. Heavy!!! Paid a bit extra for the USA eminence speakers, but I think it is worth it. Clear articulate sound. I play slap/pop as well as rock and it is great.

Product Review it is the best sounding 810 i have ever heard in my 30 years of playing bass. very well made and almost 40 lbs lighter than a standard 810E. handles, skid rails and wheels are heavy duty but the tolex is a bit fragile. my favorite features are the Eminence Drivers that make a huge difference and the over all looks of this cabinet is first class. i have either owned or played through just about every 810 you can buy including a few vintage cabinets. the sound out of this cabinet is like a vintage Ampeg 810. if i had a choice i'd pick this over a vintage cabinet hands down. Vintage Ampeg. need i say more? it is worth every cent and as soon as you plug in your head you will know i wasn't lying. try one at a music shop and see for yourself.
