Product Review I've had the head for about a week. Have not played a job yet, but based upon playing at home I'm quite satisfied. Controls are easy to use. I like the 2 1/4" speaker jacks and the DI out FX loop. Currently using a Fender 2x10" Rumble cab with a Squire Jazz with Yosemite pickups and Emmerson control plate. I can get low tones/but never lose some treble punch Would recommend the head.

Product Review Ampeg! I have always loved the Ampeg sound and quality. I bought this for my studio as a practice amp. I am a drummer and have amps for the guys to practice with. They have all loved it, the tone and power are excellent. Meets all my expectations. I have only had it a month but all the guys have put it to the test. I would Highly recommend it. It's clean and powerful enough for me to hear and play with my bass player. As a drummer that's very important.

Product Review I got this to compliment my Quilter pro block 200. couldnt afford quilter's bass head and heard someone play through one of these at a show. I was blown away at how loud and clear the lows were. Class D amps finally caught up with what they were trying to do this entire time. the setup is super simple and does exactly what any amp needs to do. absolutely no complaints about its simplicity. also takes pedals super well, even high gain distortion. Ive only had the head for a few weeks but so far so good.

Product Review Running this through an old Sunn cab with two 15"'s. Really does a good job of driving the 15's. Plenty of volume for small to mid size rooms. Controls are easy to dial in. Lightweight and easy to carry. Leaves plenty of room in the truck for the big stuff.

Product Review Very pleased with all facets of performance from this Ampeg system, power for days, super light weight, will meet all my needs in the recording studio, paired it with the PF115 cabinet and it makes a very useful fliptop package,I gave it four stars only because it needs some handles on the side of the cabinet, mine will be seeing permanent duty in the studio and not a issue, but for musicians loading in and out after shows it could be a issue.I've been a long time devotee to the Ampeg brand over 64 years,I've had very good service from that brand,I feel I will get the same from this purchase, and always great service from American Musical Supply

Product Review I bought it mainly for private practice and carrying back and forth to rehearsal. Was kind of underwhelmed when I plugged it in to my 4 ohm svt hlf 410 cab. Felt it didn't have enough bottom end. Then I hooked my Eden DI preamp pedal up through the effects loop. This think kicks bought, and is easily loud enough for any stage I play on, although I will still use my svt3 for that. Still very happy with my purchase and the service I received from AMS! You guys rule!

Product Review works Great ,I am using an 8 ohm cabinet rated at 200 watts ,this amp can produce 250 watts at 8 ohms, so you can't max this amp out ,hint push the limiter switch on and a light will come on and tell you you are about set as high as you can go. If you use 2 cabinets I don't see a problem because you can;t produce more than 350 watts and your cabinets in parallel would equal 400 watts,at 4ohms ask AMS service techs if you have any questions .

yes.. love all of the features but my favorite is the headphone plug-in that amazes me.. tone is great...it provides a solid/clean punchy sound.. playability is great...it gives you any type of sound that you are looking for.. tone is great...well the outcome will depend on what type of cab you're using...but tone is great all around.. Very professional look and finish the action is great..dont have to adjust anything by it coming straight out of the box...just plug in, set ur EQ and play....

I have had it for a few weeks and it has played perfect. It seems to be made very solid and strong. Quality control is excellent with ampeg and this proves it. It is a bit frill-less but it performs extrodinarily well for such a simple machine. The three band EQ works much better and responds better than any other EQ ive used. I also like the ability to use headphones to practice since i live in a small apartment with sound sensitive neighbors. In addition the front facing auxiliary jack is nice because i can plug in my Ipod and play along with my favorite songs. Classic ampeg tone! It just sounds amazing and is possibly the only amp I have not been left wanting in its tone. extremely playable. Super easy set up and controls allow for good control of your tone, especially for the less versed gear head. What can I say, this amp does it all well. Ampeg produces another win! The paint job is a nice powdery black that looks very classic and professional. It comes in a small professional looking metal casing. An extremely easy set up, just plug and play. Takes a couple seconds to turn on. It pair well with my Ampeg B410HLF and is plenty loud!
