This weighs next to nothing, very powerful head, very versatile. Took it to band practice the day I got it and definitely didn’t have to turn up the volume very high at all. Powerful!

Waited for my ampeg head and started playing it sounded awesome until I turned it up and it started cutting out. Really upset and I just put it in the box to send it back. Been playing for years but not happy with ampeg. Sounds good low but not turned up.

Great sounding amp. It's easy to dial in a sound you like. The auxiliary and headphone inputs allow for late night practices without disturbing family or neighbors.

I bought this head as full stack set, matched with the PF 2 10 and 1 15 cabs. I take care of my equipment, it's never been in a bar. At practice last night, it muted itself, it didn't clip, it didn't go into fault mode or protection mode, it just muted itself and wouldn't come back on. After turning it off and back on, it started working for a little longer and did it again. I changed batteries in my tuner and in my bass, still continued. It's not over heating, it's not smoking. I have to shut the amp off and turn it back on. I think I'm going back to Peavey or Hartke.

Have had it for 2 years with no issues.Rehearsals,gigs not 1 hitch.Great classic Ampeg tone with deep,high and frequency response switches that give a wide variety of sounds.I use this head with an Ampeg 15" and a 2x10" cab and it sounds great.Loud,clean and so far, reliable.
