At first I was terrified of mounting this combo together to get the full flip top effect. But man it’s awesome once it’s mounted. Powerful sound, extra storage, none screw wheels, 800 watts. What else do you need for practice AND gigs?? Fire Combo

this amp and head are a little power house. easy to navigate, so it's simple to find and set your tone. I expected a little more volume from 800 watts but it still packs a pretty good punch, and stands out pretty well in the mix. note.. set the gain right and you will have plenty of volume without clipping.

This is how I feel when I play my instruments through this Beautiful amp that you have created Ampeg!! The tone I get from my gear is wonderful. I love the tight punch I get when I pluck on my 4-string as I play that Funk, the rich thickness I have from 5-string when I'm walking through some Jazz, and the well-rounded and full sound that comes out when I play my synth bass!! When I started looking for an Amp that could cover me in all the areas that I play in, I went through many types, but when I heard this Ampeg I said, "This is it!" I stopped shopping and requested this one. The 800 watts covers the power I need and the combo 15" and tweeter sounds soooo good for me. And now my next move will be to add the 4x10 cabinet for that stacked power and sound. And let me tell you about the compact ease in moving this amp: the head tucks away into the cabinet and with one handle on the top and wheels on the bottom, I just take it right into my vehicle with no problem! I've also ordered the cover for it to keep that new amp look and smell LOL!!! Thank you Ampeg for this Fantastic equipment. And Fellas, my girl gave this to me as a birthday gift!!!

I use this amp in a trio setting it’s awesome. Coupled with the 4. /10 cab.it will cover any gig. I love the compact move ability.

This setup is great. Got it and used it already on a gig and it was so easy to move and sounds great. I usually use a Mesa Boogie head with a 2/15 diesel box and was worried I would not be satisfied with this rig. Happy to say I was very impressed with the performance and sound. I still need to learn to dial it in better but that will only make it sound better. My effects were easy to attach and sound great. I will be getting a second cab with either two or four tens and that should be awesome.

Well planned and well built. Solid sound, various tone configurations and power. Great power amp. The cabinet can handle what you throw at it. A great 15"cab. I've also hooked up my 4-10" Hartke cab with this. Incredible!!!!
It's an Ampeg. Everything's neat and pretty. Solid with no cheese. Great design and appearance.
Yes..All the basics plus compression. The flip top on the cabinet is a great feature. It allows you to attach the head to it and when moving do the flip. The head is inside the cab and the handle is on top
Old school and new school. B15 to anything else out there. The power adds to the tonal depth.

Tone, anything you want. If you do want distortion turn up the gain..
Sure did...A great combo for the price. Highly recommended.
