I’ve been recording for more than 10 years. Lately I was using a Focusrite, with external preamps via ADAT. I decided to buy this antelope in order to improve the interface preamps and little did I know how much the sound would change… it’s sound clearer and brighter. Highly recommended

If all you used this for was the premium conversion and I/O, you'd have money well spent. I am coming from UAD and the conversion sounds better. There is a difference.
I would say the most mind-boggling aspect is the control panel. But as soon as you understand to route your I/O and save a basic scheme as a template, you're good.
You get two immediate cue mixes on the mixer and reamps can be changed to alt monitors if needed.
I had a tech support issue and contrary to reviews, I have had two emails pretty fast. Definitely better support than my daw!
Ams is great if you need a return so just do it already!

The only reason i gave it 4 stars is because they dont run enough sales on the add-on plugins. But if you dont really have the space for analog plugins and you want to create a bigger more polished sound before it hits the daw then this is what you need. Initial buy is worth every penny

This interface is the first interface to ever introduce FPGAx1 combine with Dsp processing, which makes it ahead of all the other interface not to mention the high Quality AD/DA This plugin is the best on the market right now I would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable great Quality interface with alot of great features.

This has been one of my most important purchases for my studio! I have been looking for a solution that has great preamps, and fast and accurate clocking, the great plugins are simply a bonus! Zero regrets and I highly recommend Antelope Audio products to anyone looking for value and fantastic features in a sleep package!

I was very excited for this unit. Software was extremely glitchy, and lagged heavily just moving it around the screen. No bit rate option found. BIGGEST issue is that after an hour trouble shooting and another hour with tech support we determined the either the monitor outputs are bad or the driver for the hardware is corrupt or damaged in some way. AMS is always great about returns and we are setting that up. Just a shame, I had really high hope for this interfaces and was really exited to record my band and clients.

After adding a new Gen. 3 Orion to the studio, I was so impressed I had to also pick up a Discrete 8 Synergy Core for tracking sessions.
I am very glad that I did.
The onboard FX can easily contend with any of the other heavyweights out there.
Along with exceptional emulations of the usual legends, they've also released extraordinary licensed versions of modern classics by Liverpool & Gyraf.
Most of the major players have their versions of the highly-sought-after Fairchild 670, and to be fair, I think most of them are pretty great each in their own way.
There are very few, however, that offer the lesser-known, but also highly coveted RCA BA-6A and Antelope's sounds absolutely gorgeous.
I knew the specs for the monitor outs were excellent on paper, but I was blown away by how noticeable what I had expected to be a seemingly small difference made.
The sonic, depth, clarity and warmth are unreal.
My only worry is that a less than perfect mix might still come across sounding great. AB'ing is a must!
However you make use of these hand-built beauties, even if only to listen to some of your favorite tracks, the new Antelope Audio Synergy Core lineup has thrown down quite a challenge to its pricier competitors.

Sounds like I have new keyboards recording and playing back through this interface. Good stuff. Only gave 4 stars as I am having trouble claiming the promotional offer of 18 additional effects. Nothing to do with quality of this interface.

Set up was easy. Software is stable. after updates/register, you be ready to go. The software was easy to understand. pretty much easy as if am using a digital mixer.
Setting up levels and headphone levels are easy. once you set your pan level for stereo ins/outs, you be rocking in no time. Am yet to try my mics but this is mainly to be used for my Integra 7, fantom g7 and RD 2000. pretty much what I needed as far as dynamic imaging goes. Good thing about it, even when my computer goes to sleep, I still can keep play without shutting it down like some bus powered interface. So am am happy with this purchase.Am yet to test my microphones so maybe will give an update later.
btw, If you need to turn off unit safely, use the software app to turn off and on or else it will stay on. The No off and on buttons is awesome. Sometime I press the wrong button with my other units.
