Product Rating Product Review This drum machine is just what I needed for analog recording. It’s easy to program, and for digital recording also. I would totally recommend this Drum machine for beginners & those that already have experience. The drum pads sounds are excellent you can feel them just the way you want them! I give it a 10 !!!

Product Review I initially saw the negative reviews about the sound of the drums and was skeptical as to whether or not I would like it. then I listened on Youtube and heard the sounds and thought maybe I would give it a try. I am glad that I did. First, it is very simple to use (coming from a person who has used everything from an old Alesis drum machine to the computer based Maschine beat production system). I was creating rhythm patterns very quickly. I have only been using the product for 24 hours, but the overall sound of the different voices is good. I have found that running them out individually and processing the kick and snare outside the unit give an incredible result. I have also found that even without doing that this thing has some serious bottom end. I am using a good pair of studio speakers and love the sound of this in them. The only thing I am struggling with is using the clock to sync to my DFAM and Mother 32, but I am sure that is a user error problem. Complaints: Well, it would be nice to have a printed manual instead of having to go online and download it. Which also means subsequently having to print 81 pages. You will need to manual for some things like clock settings, procedures for saving beats and so forth. on a scale of 1-10, well because my DFAM has a much stronger bottom end, on sound an 7. As for the ease of use, the sequencer is much simpler than my Mother 32 and definitely less of a learning curve than the Maschine, so 9. As for bang for buck, well come on, under $400 and with the sound it give.... at least an 8.5 or 9. So overall.. well, 8.5 out of 10 for me. Again, each person will find what they dislike or like about it, but personally I really like this thing....

Product Review Great product, many reviews will say the same. The kicks are wonderful, real thump ! Multi outputs, Midi slave or master. Beware of first batch shipments though. They tend to have an issue with one sound or another either being muted or off. Great buy though !

Product Review The sequencer and live/performance tools are amazing, the sounds are a total flop. Many voices can not be tuned and the ones that can, upon analysis, are not truly being tuned. Most of the parameters are not adjusting the sound but instead applying different filters to create the effect. I would happily trade the nice sequencer for some nice sounds. Can't do that so I had to send it back. If you like the sounds this drum machine will be an amazing deal so I can't quite say it's deserving of one star. Hope this helps!

Product Review I wanted to like this, really. I have almost every Roland drum machine there is, and love them all. This is a very weak imitation. First: Connections. Why they decided to use 1/8" connectors for the separate outputs is beyond me. They make no sense. I had to go buy new cables to hook it up. Second: Sound. The sounds are pale imitations of other sounds, without the punch and character they need. For instance, the Kicks are so lame, they can barely be called kicks. They have no low end sound. They sound more like "low toms". Third: The "Tuning" knobs hardly do anything on some drums, while being too wild on others. Programming is fare. But again, they decided to use non-standard work flow for many of the functions. The construction is good, sturdy, with nice metal and wood end panels. But that just makes it a good looking paper weight. This doggy's going home.

Product Review Can't beat it for the price & the individual outs for each instrument is what really sold me.
