Coming from a budget Novation Impulse (which is also very nice) this Arturia is a joy to play. The feel of it and the after-touch are so smooth. The multiple 1/4" inputs and the supported connections let me have multiple pedals.
Analog Lab and Piano V are the best "freebies" I've had so far. By themselves they are worth it. I am using this with Cubase Elements 13 and some EastWest products and find it well supported.

I love this controller. The keys feel so good...much better than the original KeyLab and way better than other controllers. Analog lab is a huge bonus as well. I use Logic and this makes my work flow so much easier. Highly recommend!!

I’ve had this midi Keyboard for a few months now and it has quickly become one of the most important pieces of gear in my home studio. The keys, knobs, faders, buttons and pads all have a premium feel. I love the DAW integration with the magnetic preset labels. Allows me to spend less time looking at my computer screen and more time making music (which is the goal, right?).

To preference I'm not a keys player. I was intrigued by how this controller auto mapped all the slider and knobs and how it can easily control your specific daw with pre assigned hot keys with a nifty magnetic label to display. This thing works flawlessly. No tedious programming. And the library of pre made patches is massive, and super easy to search. The chord memory button has been AMAZING! Watch reviews and you'll see this thing rocks. And so does AMS for offering payment plans that make having incredible gear like this more accessible to everyone!

Upon receiving this you can immediately tell it was made with quality materials, this thing is solid. The sensitivity of the keys are perfect for a midi at least for me, I'm not looking for a super weighted piano key feel on a midi keyboard. All in all great stuff.

The Arturia keylab 61 MKll has a solid build and it cut my work flow in half. This well built keyboard controller is built like a tank. All of the faders,knobs,and buttons fell very steady and smooth. The key bed has a nice Simi-weighted fell to my fingers. The keyboard's body is made of metal and has a premium look to it. I recommend this keyboard controller to anyone who is looking for a quality and durability controller.

Arturia has a very good keyboard with this 61.
I am by no means an expert piano player but the feel of this keyboard makes me want to play more and more.
It's sturdy with excellent construction. I have the black board and it just looks inviting when I turn it on inside my home studio.
The knobs and faders are very good. They don't feel like they will come apart or loosen over time. The keys could be better if weighted but they don't disappoint. The don't feel cheap.
The software that comes with it is very good. The factory sounds are off the charts with how realistic they sound and love how they are introducing classic keyboards from all genres and eras of music.
There should be no way you can't find the sound you are looking for.
I use this keyboard with my trifecta: Ableton Live, Maschine and Reason.
It works great with either program and I can switch on the fly without problems (and the proper template setup in each ??)
To me, this was a worthwhile purchase and I don't see the need to look any further for now.

I love it. I got it to have a desk midi controller for console work and post production. Not only will it run abletone live 11 flawlessly it runs studio one 5 perfect as well as Logic Pro. I have even used it in fruity loops and it worked which nothing ever works. The playability is better than expected. I am a hammer action guy but this is great for its job and plays very well, and it doesn’t feel like a cheap toy (like other midi control units I’ve had). I would recommend this for anyone looking for a compact yet functional midi control for your Mac/PC.

This is my first MIDI keyboard and I am impressed. I spent hours of research into which controller would be the best fit and what I was looking for and it is better than I imagined. From the construction and materials used to the sounds included everything on this controller was thought out. With the functionality to control multiple DAWs it just keeps getting better.

This is a wonderful product. The only complaint I can think of is setting the pads tends to be a little different and difficult. I do wish it was easier to set chords without having to go into computer software to do it.
Other than this. The keyboard is extremely solid in build and quality and while the keys are not like playing a piano, they are still a step up from typical plastic keys.

I did not choose this Arturia MkII 61 on a whim. I conducted serious research into all the options available today in this price range and I must say I am not disappointed in the least.
To buy this level of quality, functionality and workmanship in any other brand would cost you 1000's. You also get software that if bought would cost as much as the keyboard itself. I am very happy with my purchase, especially from AMS because they match the 1 year warranty with another year for free. How can you beat that?

I have had this controller less than 24 hours and I can EASILY give it 5 stars! It has instantaneously increased my production after plugging it in. The templates are intuitive, the feel of the keys let you know that it's not a cheap product, and the way that it integrates into EVERYTHING is amazing. I've been using this for about a month now and I have to be honest.
The best thing about Arturia keylab MKII is the fact you get killer, unbelievable great software digital sounds in Analog Labs 4. And when paired with using this keyboard it is almost perfect controller for.
One problem I have is that it is not easy to assign your pads to anything other than the default. You can do it but it takes some technical and time to rearrange chords or notes to fit where you need them to be. My other problem is that when using with any other (for example...Akai force or playing other vstis besides Analog Labs...the functionality of the instrument cuts in half .
But I would get just for the software package that comes with and I'm not a guy easily impressed by computer generated sounds and samples

I've been looking for solid midi controller that has the feel of a real instrument and seamless integration with Logic. I've tried the other competitors and they just weren't a good fit for my needs. This board was the answer. It doesn't have that cheap plastic feel. Right out of the box, I could tell that this would be a durable controller, with it's metal casing and astonishingly comfortable keybed.
This controller is inspiring and a blast to use and it looks great on stage! The lights and colors are stellar. I've had this for two months and whether using it for live performances with MainStage or putting together tracks in Logic, it has exceeded all my expectations.

Once i received and unpacked my arturia keylab and connected and and started 2 use it along with the analog software i told myself i was in love , just the way keys felt the rotary knobs pads and how easy it is to use and control my daw its like a dream marriage. I never and i mean never had a midi controller this well built and so easy to dive right end and start using the overlays templates to understand your transport controls are amazing im an ableton live 10 suite user with the push 2 controller and i literally stop using my push 2 for awhile and was solely using the arturia mk2 for everything that i needed to in my daw , now the only draw back is i wish it had a larger screen that gave me the visualization like the push 2 controller but thats minor to me. I still love that its well built inexpensive and great quality so i say thanks arturia and thanks a.m.s for video documentation that persuaded me to make a great purchase.

Over the last few years I've been searching for a keyboard that has Ableton integration, hardware synth control and an intelligible interface. It seemed under most brands there was only a compromise. Without going into all of the negatives or compromises of what was available, it seems there is finally two options the Novation SL MKIII and the Arturia Keylab MKII. I went with the Arturia because it covered everything I wanted at a lower cost and the layout seemed less excessive. The build quality feels like a professional tool not a toy. It feels quite substantial and solid. Unfortunatley, my white paint had two tiny little chips on it, but I'm not going to sweat that. Ableton integration just worked out of the box, I love the keybed, sliders and pots are smooth and feel great to the touch with their soft matte coating. I finally have midi control, CV control, aux, DAW integration, and a quality enough keyboard to run all the hardware synths. It was worth the wait and the cost

First off, I use this board mainly for stage, but it also makes a great hub for your home studio. This is an instrument, so its most important facet should be touch response. It's listed as "Semi-weighted", which can be subjective.
The keys are synth action, but more weighted than typical synth action. Not floppy or springy feeling. The action is smooth and has a decent amount of resistance to keep it from feeling cheapy. Also, the key travel is a a tiny bit less than most other keyboards. It feels much nicer (to me!) than any of the other controllers I own.
The hardware control app is both comprehensive and intuitive, but straight forward. Very well thought-out. And you can actually make sense of the manual (which you download from their site)! It gives you options for tweaking multiple parameters to taste. The pads, for example, can be set to trigger notes, CC changes, or even MSB/LSB program changes. GREAT investment in your music.
