For the price these closed back headphones are good for recording. If it is all you can get they will get the job done for mixing as well. I love these

Really comfortable! Nice build quality. I found the fr to be really pleasing in this set. More sub bass than hd25. I would have liked clearer midrange but outstanding treble extension.

They have a nice base to the headphones pretty great sound and helpful with recording! Only been using them for two weeks and already recorded three songs and it’s been so helpful!

Everything you come to love in a smaller package. In addition to using this in the studio, the BlueTooth headset I normally use with my phone recently broke and these are so comfortable to have around my neck when not in use that I even started using them on the go and enjoying music more on my mobile devices. Best part of having 3 cables in the box, I can leave one in my studio ready to go and one with my phone for when I am stepping out. Not to mention I have had the best luck so far when I have to mix on headphones with the ones done with these translating the most. Excellent sound, Excellent Value.
