Product Rating Product Review This is a huge upgrade from my factory cartridge and a major noticeable difference as soon as I adjusted the turntable. Everything is crisp and clear and background sounds in the music are on point. Using on a Audio-Technica AT-LP-120. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Product Review I went back & forth on whether to get this stylus for a couple of years. The stylus that came with my AT LP120 is good, but it seemed to degrade rather quickly. I spent a lot of time trying to get it sounding better with other tricks but to no effect. So I decided to just spring for this stylus and WOW! So much clearer & fuller than the stock sty! Easy install, no fuss. I say just take the plunge and upgrade to this if you have an AT table. You'll thank yourself for it!

Product Review I purchased this particular cartridge after looking at many reviews. It was out of stock at most retailers so gave it a shot here, it arrived promptly. I could tell it sounded way better than the stock unit on my AT120 turntable.

Product Review Read over 20 reviews for a replacement for my LP120. Was a bit skeptical but I figured what the hell. I cannot tell you the difference this made. I hear shit I never heard before. Hard to explain without hearing it. The highs are higher, the lows are lower. There's more body. Add the fact that AMS allows you to pay on time makes the decision a lot easier. Go for it. You won't regret it.

Product Review Bought this (tentatively) to replace my brittle screechy cold and sterile AT440MLB cart. I was apprehensive at first because I didn’t want another 440 sounding cart. This cart has the highs rolled down a bit (thank God) and sounds very rich and full. I actually enjoy putting my records on again! I’m sure there are some YouTube clips you can check out but this sounds NOTHING like the 440MLB

Product Review Great Bright and lots of bass...not muddy at all Great Rock and Roll setup here. I had considered Ortofon blue and I bet some of you here are too. Although I cant speak first hand for the Blue I can for the 540VM and I wont be bothering with Ortofon anything. For me to step up from here would take $660 for a MC cartridge and $700 for the minimun deck to mount it on to exploit it...as it is I am using a AT1240LP and this $275 cartridge/Stylus with outstanding results coming from a AT95Ex. Well worth the money and did I mention the bass? Get it broke in and give it a chance...I'm glad I did albeit a bit wary to shell out this much money for a beginners Audiophile grade unit. Even the stylus is rated at 1000hrs which is really what your buying here. Outstanding value really. You could always do the 520VM with a bonded stylus and upgrade later stylus only...that would save ya $100 or so today and you would still be upgrading significantly from a AT95 which is a decent cartridge itself.

Product Review This single addition to my Stereo system was an upgrade for my vinyl records, my turntable, my receiver and my speakers, an improvement all around. The best investment I could have made.
