I did a lot of research before I decided on these mics. I was having trouble keeping the symbols from ringing over the Tom Mics. These mics seem To do the trick. Great separation due to the polar pattern of these mics.

Purchased the Audix D2s to replace my aging Shure beta 56As that I used previously to mic my toms. Never really had any issues with the 56s but just got new drums and wanted to upgrade my total sound. The D2s are an upgrade in every way, punchier with more low end and smoother in the midrange. Very satisfied, gonna buy more

They are audix d2's. What else is there to say.....lol.....love them on toms . Not my only choice for tom mics but definatley top 3 . Great price and they come with the drum clamps that work awesome on normal rimmed drums. Toms have an attacky sound that i love . Great product that again a.m.s had a great price on. Eveything ive ordered including these were delivered in less than 3 days. Thank you guys for another great purchase.

Worth the money

I use them for my congas. It's great because I'm the musician, engineer and producer and it takes me so long to mic each instrument and record and play them. The drum pack allows me to get a solid micing hit record and go. I gave it 4 stars cuz it could be a little cleaner but no big issue with mixing. But for affordability and convenience it gets 4 out of 5 happy customer. Thanks AUDIX AND AMERICANMUSICAL :)
