Product Rating Product Review I have owned both versions of the Babicz Telecaster bridge and this one is a bit different from the Full Contact model. The saddles don't lock to the bridge, it does't offer the three bolt mounting option, and there isn't the top load string option. Apparently, the Z series are the budget line, so for about forty to fifty dollars difference, it's what you get. I would compare it to the Gotoh six saddle bridge. Is there a noticeable increase in sustain with the Babicz bridge? Yes, but it's not exactly an Earth shattering experience. What you get from it, you get with any heavier six saddle bridge. You get accurate intonation, a slightly modern sound, and an increase in ergonomics. If you are looking for something a bit different, it's a definitely an upgrade to Fender's six saddle design, but you could probably achieve that with just the Babicz saddles, instead of replacing the entire bridge. Six saddle bridges aren't necessarily an tonal upgrade to a three saddle bridge. There is tonal difference between this and the classic stamped bridge with brass saddles. Better or worse, is a subjective opinion. I have a three saddle bridge on one guitar and this Babicz model on another. Both guitars sound miles apart and I like that they do. The bridges aren't the only reason for that. It's also a matter of pine versus alder and solid versus semi-hollow. The bridges help to further the divide. I guess what I am trying to say is that Babicz bridges offer a modern design for a traditional guitar. It's not a reinvention of the wheel. If you have more than one telecaster, then by all means, try one. If you're a purist, then nothing this bridge does is going to be enough for you to give it a fair shake. I think of it as an improvement, but the original works just fine too.

Product Review Great design. I have been bothered by the height adjustment screws on some of my Fender bridges ripping my palm up so this is the 2nd of my Fenders to be upgraded with the Babicz bridge. Installed & set it up on my custom Telecaster and made me love this guitar more than ever. The note clarity and sustain from the full contact saddles are noticeable and no more ripping up of my palm. Treat yourself to one and I would be surprised if anyone is not happy with the upgrade. I have been playing guitar for over 45 years and have 22 guitars with at least 5 custom guitars that I hand-built. I don't recommend products unless I have actually used them and are satisfied with their performance. I also do not get paid for endorsing products.
