Product Review I’ve had a pair of the original Truth monitors for over 8 years. They sound amazing, produce excellent Mixes that translate exceptionally well in my truck, SoundCloud, MP3s, CDs, etc. and they are loud enough so that when I just wanna blast a mix, they can handle it. All sorts of features too. Love them.

Product Review The first thing I noticed was the weight. Felt good unloading these from the box. Construction is solid. I bought these for my new voice-over studio. Upon plugging in, I ran several different types of audio through them, the sound is incredible! I've had these for over a week and I am very pleased with the performance.

Product Review Nice flat sound. Well build. Heavy. The "automatic on" feature is funky. I've had one speaker go off...then on...then off again. Then the other one will do pretty much the same. Seems that it needs a steady, STRONG signal to stay awake. I just use the main on/off switches now. Also AMS 2 day shipping took 4 days. I hope they get a refund from Fed-X.

Product Review Although I spent a little more on these monitors than my budget really allowed, gosh am I glad I did. They have consistently and robustly provided a high level of power and clarity of polyphony which has surpassed my expectations many times over. Sounding the way they do, I’m amazed that I don’t have several more speakers spread around, but rather just the two! The highs are refined and comfortable, and the lows are impressive to the point that I forget I don’t have a separate sub-woofer product. I highly recommend these studio monitors without reservation. Money well spent!

Reference monitoring on a budget

After four years of continuing use one unit burned out the output power stage. Other monitors I have had for the same period of time and under the same workload do not show any sign of exhaustion. The best feature may be the power level and sound. I think it would be good to have a little more fidelity when it comes to frequency response Very easy to adjust if you know what you are doing and have measurement equipment. However this is always the case in most units but the more expensive top ones Very good tone almost comparable to units much more expensive. Not the most reliable unit on the market. They may sound like Mackies however they are no Mackie at least in terms of dependability Your general opinion of this product. A very good alternative for home studio monitoring on a budget

Made well. Switches are tight. Jack is solid. These puppies are heavy. I like that personally. May be unfounded, but seems to convey a certain quality. Then again... trains are heavy. I don't like listening to trains. I mix in a small room. Compensation switch on these solved low end issue that bass traps couldn't Very easy to adjust for room shortcomings It still amazes me the things I can hear. Fingers on a fretboard; A pick ready to strike a chord; Breath in a sax; Tip of a stick smacking a head; HiHat cymbals touching; blah, blah, blah. Even their silence sounds great. Lo end is tight and punchy (sounds cliche I know. But it's spot-on in this case). Wear a seatbelt until you get used to them Wind from the bass ports will move your hair from three feet away. I feel like I owe Behringer more money. They've got the perfect slogan -just listen. Rock solid after 3 yrs. No probs Your general opinion of this product. Love them. -enough come back 3 years later and write this review. Buy them!

I consider them dependable as long as they stay in a studio and not on the road. like the fine tuning options of the speakers for different room settings. owners manual was easy to understand. tone was low at first but that is fully adjustable on each seperate speaker. so far so good, i overpowered them once so far and am in process of setting them up for the room. Your general opinion of this product. for the price I paid and the sound of the speakers I have no complaints about the speakers.

One of Behringer's best products. I've never got a bad one - (as opposed to there A500 amplifiers) How hard can it be? Just make sure to use Balanced lines Treble can be a tiny bit harsh for reproduction of acoustic instrument samples. But the only way your going to get better at the SPL I need is with Mackie HR824 Awesome Your general opinion of this product. Outstanding value. What can I say? I own 12 of these.

These are amazingly well made. I don't have anything against Behringer as a company, but for a company known for it's budget-mindedness...these are possibly the best made item they've ever made. The best feature is definitely the sound. Nice flat response with zero coloration, what you hear is what you get. Practically plug and play, with easy to understand controls on the back panel. The sound is true, hence the name...TRUTH. I've had these for about 6 years now, one was even dropped from about 6 feet thanks to a drunkard, and they still sound as good as the day I purchased them. Your general opinion of this product. You can't ask for better sound for your money.

The monitors seem to be well-taken care of, and I know they will last and go strong for years to come. The sound is craaaaaaaaaazy! The bottom is what I needed and these monitors give me the response I crave. The auto cutoff feature is nice as well. Very easy hook-up. The manual was straight-forward and to the point. The sound is marvelous. Everything I need to hear when I'm recording is right there and on-point. I love them. I've only had them for about a week so they're doing great. They better be! lol Your general opinion of this product. I love them very much, and will be holding on to them for a long time.

When I 1st got mine a little over 3 years ago I wasn't sure what to expect. They have been rock solid and unless I've lost some hearing (I mix at low volumes) the overall quality hasn't changed a bit. Aside of cosmetic blemishes due to moving and what not they are holding up very well. Love that I can just turn the mixer on and voila, the monitors come on as soon as sound is pushed through. The different settings for room set-up are nice but not necessary. Plug ..... adjust settings... get to work. After mixing with headphones and crappy PC studio monitors for so long and getting no-where, I have to say this purchase has allowed me to achieve great mixes not to mention advancing my mixing skills. Aside of bass response everything else is pretty accurate and the sound is clean. There's a reason they are "Truth" series monitors. However, these monitors alone will not make you put out better mixes, you have to put in work and learn your craft. Had them about 3 1/2 years using them almost daily and still as reliable as day one. Your general opinion of this product. They are a must have for novice to advanced users on a budget.

just got some 12 gauge wire and i cant hear any signal noise at max volume. this things are heavy- first pair of monitors so i dont have much to compare with, but they are built solid. knocked one over like an idiot but besides a slight scratch they work perfectly. great set up on the back to adjust the sound for whatever you need. plug them in and turn them on these sound fantastic. i have been putting off getting good monitors as i produce/compose as a hobby and have mixed on a JVC mini system for years lol. i can hear my mistakes instantly listening to these- i am getting serious and moving up to pro level and these were a great investment. i don't have much frame of reference as far as monitors go but as someone else said i almost feel like i robbed behringer with the sound quality. with the 12 gauge wire these things can really blast too without any distortion or noise. the bass sounds great and the highs are very very clear. just got it but these seem like they will be in use for years to come Your general opinion of this product. very satisfied with my first set of monitors, would recommend to any other producers looking for a good set of speakers to mix with.

Seem to be very solid. Did not see any flaws or scratches. Did not open them up so the outside is all I can speak for. One thing I would have liked would be RCA inputs since I am using a Zoom MRS-802 muli-track recorder which only has RCA outputs. I run the Zoom to a Behringer UltraGain preamp, and from there to the new 2031A's. Simple manual is helpful I previously had mixed all of my homemade music through quality headphones. When I found a mix that I thought sounded good through the 2031A's, I turned them down and listened to the same mix through my headphones. I found that the difference was very noticeable. I was happy and sad. Happy that my mixes now sound a lot better...and sad because I have given so many poorly mixed songs to buddies (that could have been salvaged if I hadn't deleted the masters). These monitors have allowed me to hear my music a lot better in comparison to headphone monitoring. When a song is mixed "correctly", the ear-fatigue factor is greatly reduced. Sounds silly but it is true. I have no idea how loud these things can get..I have them set on "0", about 15 ft apart, facing each other, and it is all I can handle. Sound does not seem to be colored in any way. Everything I hear from the 2031A's sounds exactly like what I hear in my headphones....only louder and clearer. Only had them a few weeks. Your general opinion of this product. These are the first and only monitors I have tried or owned. Wish I would have bought them years ago.

The monitors are very solid. I believe I could drop it and still have all my sounds quality. There are some nice features included like the room setting, mute highs and mute lows, turn up highs and lows. a very tweakable set of monitors Plug and play. But read the manual so you can set them up just right. The sound is just ok. Doesn't reflect the specs laid out on the description. I've only had it for a day so, we'll see. Your general opinion of this product. I thought that some of the previous reviews we kinda downplaying the sound quality of the monitors, but they were right. Befor I had some Alesis M1 actives Mk2. Those were great. I had them for like 6 years before they decided to go bad, so I went out and got these. I read the specs. I thought, "hmmmmm for an 40 dollars more than another set of Alesis M1s i can get twice the watts and expanded the frequency range." BUZZ! Wrong. These aren't horrible monitors. They are ok. But they don't reflect the specs. These monitors actually has caused me not to buy monitors from online stores because now I know specs don't mean much. I have to test my future monitors choices in the store. Sucks that american musical doesn't have a store where I can walk in. I've bought ALL my music equipment from AMS. I'm loyal to these guys, but I can't risk my sounds again. As musicians/producers/artists sounds is one of the most important factors....Behringer lied.

Lol, I accidentally knocked one over off of a pool table onto the carpet as I was taking them out of the box and it STILL worked perfectly so I guess I tested them out for everybody lol! You can adjust the monitors to your studio making them perfect for your setting. Plug it up, change the settings and you're done. Really, nice listening to my songs with these new speakers made them sound fully mixed and they were being played back from my keyboard. I've only had it for one day, but I have noticed that they get really hot after a minutes in the back so I don't think prolonged sessions is a good idea with these babies. Your general opinion of this product. Its built like a tank and a friend told me they were Mackie knock-offs but oh well. They sound good for the price and I've heard $700+ monitors that sound JUST like these so these are very good. Definately not the best monitor out there, but for a pair you'd be hard pressed to find any other better. Oh yeah, I haven't had any radio interferences yet so I think its where you live.

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
Behringer shows how much they care by using a heavy cardboard box within a cardboard box in their factory packaging. They look great, feel very solid and I would hope that, within a studio environment of course, they would last a lifetime.

FEATURES:
Just check out the rear of the 2031A's for features. These type of features (i.e. XLR Balanced, 1/4" unbal., off/auto/on, Low Freq. 0 -2 -4 -8Db, Room Compensation 0 -2 -4 -8Db, High Freq 0 +2 -2 -4Db, Mute Low, Mute High) were, up to now, only found on the higher-end stuff (like Mackie 824's @$899.00 List a piece!).

I went with the recommendations of Paul White (Sound On Sound Publications) in backing off the high freq. -2 but I kept the low freq. at "typical" because I tend to mix bass too hot and this helps remind me NOT to.

If behringer keep there prices like this, they are going to out do everyone.

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
The quality of the product is excellent. I am impressed with the impriovement in construction and design. For example, the power switch is accessible from the top of the speaker. Now, you don't have to reach behind the speaker to turn it off. Of course this speaker has always featured an auto off circuit, but sometimes you need to turn the monitor OFF.

FEATURES:
The best feature is that the fatigue level is muhc lower. I used to have to take breaks when mixing with the first version of this speaker because of the high-mid harshness. This is no longer a concern

EASE OF USE:
5 minutes to set up and I'm mixing! Couldn't be easier...

VALUE:
This product is worth 3x the price I apid.

SOUND:
This product sound MUCH better than its predecessor. When I called Behringer, the knucklehead phone reps couldn't really tell me what the "improvements" were. I'd sold my copies of the first version al

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
within a few days one of the speakers started making loud popping noises and turning itself off. a few days after that the other speaker started doing the same. Behringer expected me to pay the 80$ shipping cost to send their faulty product back. after a far too long exchange of e mails and phone calls they finally agreed to pick them up for exchange. buy at your own risk. behringer is shady.

FEATURES:
sounds great when they work. they look nice.

EASE OF USE:
just plug them in really. pretty easy.

VALUE:
no. i have invested far too much time in trying to get a replacement set. also i have lost valuable recrding time due to behringer's slow response time.

SOUND:
sounded great.

Outstanding quality, outrageously good value!

FEATURES:
The imaging is incredibly accurate, the sound punchy, tight...crispy-clean.

EASE OF USE:
Hook it up, either digital or analogue, and plug it in. Couldn't be any easier.

VALUE:
These things sound so good, I don't know how they sell the more expensive ones. Sure, there are some at 2-3 times the price that are a LITTLE better, but just a little.

SOUND:
Gets me wet and tenting in a nanosecond. These things just sound SO tight, and the imaging is SO vivid....

I resently purchased the B2031 monitors and they where excellent, I sold them to get the upgrade B2031A and these have even more shielding then the previous pair. These are such good monitors and for the price! who can beat them? You will never find Bi-amped near field monitors with such highs and deep bass (even though I use a subwoofer) but never the less, all this great quality, plus sooo much friendlier on our pockets not like those other brands. Behringer I thank you for always thinkin' about the strugglin' musicians and producers.

Great Quality for the Money

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
Nice-looking, good sound, solid.

FEATURES:
Nice how they have XLR and 1/4" inputs so you can choose. The frequency adjustments are also a very nice touch. The auto-on feature isn't sensitive enough for me (you have to almost blast yourself to get them to turn on), so I just turn them on & off the old-fashioned way.

EASE OF USE:
Plug it in, turn it on. Tweak if necessary. That's it.

VALUE:
I got a great deal on a scratch & dent pair of these... But the one that was scratched seems to buzz a little when I throw huge bass tones at it (very rarely). Luckily, the new Truth B2092A sub should take care of that (and hopefully AMS will stock it soon). I don't expect these small woofers to play like subs, and no one should.

SOUND:
These have awesome clarity. Not the best bass, but that's what the new subwoofer model is for. Can't wait to add it to my arsenal! These are great monitors for the money. I a

the roll off switches, and top mounted on/off switch realy help. It is very easy to dial in your room, and is extremely usefull

EASE OF USE:
straight forward....easy to understand

VALUE:
INCREDIBLE, i put them up at a local store against a lot of other ones.

SOUND:
they tend to be a bit bright, and i would suggest the optional sub that matches this set, and you will be blown away how your mixes will change, you will hear things you recorded that you never heard before
