I have used these for choir and small orchestra/chamber ensembles and they work very well. I've only used them as overheads in live setting and they work just about as good as the standard Rode stereo mics that I also have. There might be a difference in studio but I bet it's hard to tell the difference between these and mics that cost much more.

Great addition to my studio. If you're looking for a pair of studio quality stereo mics on a budget, this is the ticket. The sound is clear. The switchable hi pass / pad makes these mics very versatile. These mics work and sound great! Very happy that I chose to give them a shot.

Great mics I use them mostly for live sound. Use these for over head on drum mix. Picks up cymbals, Tom's & snare if needed depending on gig. Bigger professional shows just use for high end as I mic up toms & snare separately. Don't let the size fool you, powerful little things. Make sure you have phantom power on (48v).
Also great for recording live shows to recorders!

C-2 vs. $500 mics

Product Review
These matched pair microphones come with a holder bracket so you can put both mics on one mic stand. For acoustic guitar I aim them straight down to my neck -- at about the 8th fret. I never set mics in front of my guitar. I've tested this mic sis by side with a $500 AKG and a $200 Rode. The C-2 mics hold their own. Very good mics. I also use a Behringer MIC2200 dual channel mic preamp and a Behringer UMC202 audio interface. All good stuff.

I think it's very durable. I've had the pair of microphones since 2009 and they are still alive and kicking well!
It has an optional -10db and a high pass.
It is only cardioid, a very good one.
If you want different polar patterns, go look at something else.
Very easy to use.
I really like how the sound comes out on the recordings. I am currently running it through a Tascam us-2000. Sounds clean. I've recorded vocals, acoustic and electric guitar, snares, and I currently use them as drum overheads.

Low-cut and pad are cool to have; makes it a little closer to its competition.
Very easy to use if you've ever used a condenser
The sound is good. Comes sort of close to a pair of NT5 or similar small diahragms, and for the price you can't beat it. BUT...if you're epecting clarity worthy of a rode or nuemann, you're not going to get it for 100 bucks.

They look and feel to be fairly well made.
The pad and roll off is nice. The case and everything it comes with is great, especially in such a tiny box.
Whats to say? You plug them in, turn on phantom and they work.
To those who say these sound like an NT5 or a 414, you must not own either of the previous 2 mics. Compared to the Rode NT5, They are flat and lack depth. Everything is crisp and clear but doesnt have a lot of presence. Recording acoustic guitar with NT5 produced a far superior recording than these did.

The mics are well made, I hope they are dependable. The boom stands that came in the package are pretty good, great for these light little mics. The mic wires in the package deal are, well, "meh", imported .
I really like the compact size and rugged construction of these mics.
They sound pretty good. I'm using them as overhead drum mics to put the ambience in the drum mix at live shows in small to medium venues. Just got them yesterday so I tried them on the rehearsal kit in my basement.

Great Sound - Great Price

They appear to be metal and built sturdy, not overbuilt.
They are very light so I can put them on an auxillary arm on my mic stand with my vocal mic and not have it tip over.
Had a manual and was easy to use.
I use the mics for soprano, concert and baritone ukuleles and guitar, some hand percusion. I like the way it does not color the sound and having a condensor give me more freedom of placement. I used them in a smallish conference room with a slate floor and almost empty contents. I was surprised how little feedback I got. It was a non issue with these mics.

Very well made. Had mine for 4 years using them for both live gigs and recording and they are still going strong.
Not much in features. Low frequency roll-off and 10db pad. But I wasn't looking for it be a swiss army knife.
Easy to use if you know anything about mics.
Beautiful sound for such an affordable microphone. I use them as drum overheads and for miking choirs and I always get great results. Best Behringer product I've ever owned.

Inexpensive and Impressive

The Behringer C-2's seem to be solid and responsive. These mics are being used in a small project studio for acoustic instruments. I haven't had the chance to try them as over-heads yet.
The roll-off switch is great. Using one or both mics, the switching ability broadens the tonal possibilities and evens things out. I would like to have a little wider stereo bar but you can always set up another mic stand.
Anyone can plug in a microphone.... The ease and use comes with finding what it can and can't do. That's the fun part. I think that Behringer did such a great job with these that I am considering a pair of their C-4's for a comparison study.
So far, I am very pleased with the sound on the acoustic instruments that I have recorded. I still have a lot of tests to run but I believe that they will serve me well for years to come.

These mics are awesome. The clarity of these mics by far surpass the price of them. For such a low price you get two super clear condenser mics.
I am blown away by the clarity... I'm use to seeing large numbers on price tags for mics like these!
This product is so easy to use. You just hook them in your mixer or interface, and turn on phantom power. Its that simple.
The tone is awesome. It has settings for high frequencies, low frequencies, and a setting for balanced. It picks up so amazingly clear. I am appalled.

SUPER SIMPLE-SET THEM UP, FIND THE SWEET SPOTS AND RECORD FOR HOURS. WELL WRITTEN AND CONCISE MANUAL
OUTSTANDING-THESE MICS SPARKLE AND SHINE ON ACOUSTIC GUITARS. VERY CLOSE TO AN AKG 414 FOR A FRACTION OF THAT COST. VERY GOOD FOR DRUM OVER-HEADS, PERCUSSION, AND CRISP AIR-BRUSHED BACKGROUND VOCALS

Great quality for recording.
Comes as a pair but can be split, one for guitar, for for vocals or etc other instruments.
Pretty easy to use I think.... Just plug it in, adjustable db's but you have to mess with the EQ a bit.
The sound is perfect, only if you mess with the EQ a bit though.

These mics feature a bass rolloff which I use often.
Incredibly easy, point at sound source and adjust angle and distance to find the "sweet spot."
Great tone, sounds just like whatever is being recorded and usually only requires minor EQ adjustment.

padded case are also a plus for this item
EASE OF USE:

VALUE:
I have always been sold on Behringer, anything Behringer. They make it easy on the pocket book with quality as good as any body. These mics made by any other company would easily go for twice the price. Trust me, if you are starting out or even for old veterans like me that have been in music 35+ years you can't go wrong with these. Plus AMS always looks out for our pocket books too!

QUALITY:
These mics feel very solid and durable. The mic cable fits snug (which also has a lot to do with the cable) so there is no poping from a loose cable.
FEATURES:
Low freq. roll-off and -10dB switch.
EASE OF USE:
Very easy to use. Simply plug in and you're in business.
VALUE:
It's almost one of those "too good to be true" prices when you get TWO mics for 50 bucks!
SOUND:
These aren't those cheap little mics that sound like someone's taking a crap, but the C2 mics give a very clear sound. I compared a C2 to a Sure SM58 (just for the fun of it) and the C2 had a much better tone and was far more clearer than the SM58. (I know it's not really a fair comparison since the SM58 is a dynamic and the C2 is a condenser)

SOUND:
I tried them on drums as overheads, on the snare and on the toms. For the money, they sound great for all positions. However, when I used the -10db pad, the hi end dropped off a bit. The cheapest condenser tom mic goes for $70, @ $25 a piece you can't go wrong.

FEATURES:
Made of metal, low cut roll off switch, -10db pad. Comes with case, stereo stand adapter, 2 pop guards. Full freq response FOR $60 BUCKS!!!
EASE OF USE:
Plug in and go...
VALUE:
This is by far the best value in the music industry. They make great mics for cheap. I have mics that cost hundreds more, and these will keep right up with them.
SOUND:
I have used these for drums, overheads, bass cabs, guitar cabs, and even vocals. They can do it all, and if you spend some pre/post prep time you will get great results.. If using for vocals back off about 12 inches or you will overload the preamp...
