This is a good set of monitors if you are just starting out. I need something that was more professional grade... nothing wrong with these speakers.... just wasn't what I needed...

Love these speakers. Sound great & easy to use with my Pioneer DJ Turntable. Seperate Bass & Treble controls are why I purchased.

Studio quality sound, works perfectly at half volume and when maxed out. I use it with my keyboard and the set really does the sounds justice. I recommend them to guys looking for monitors that won't break the bank; and not sacrifice quality.

I am totally satisfied with the purchase of these monitors. Most of the time, i'm working on music in the middle of the night. So, when I need to hear without using headphones, I depend on these monitors to get me through. Crisp sound, and does the trick for me.

I own these and was on a tight budget, but really needed some monitors. Honestly don't waste your money on these. Here are my reasons why: They are not loud at all, they have no punch. I understand these are studio monitors but they can't handle the slightest bit of low end. I really don't feel they capture the real sound, and they blew a fuse. So there you have it.. They ok for the price but suck as studio monitors.

Wish they were a little cheaper, but they have lasted awhile now and are very clear sounding monitors. I have came home numerous times to find these cranked the whole way while my feeble-minded roomies chug beer to thrash. They seem to have taken these beatings in stride.

GOOD BUT NO WOW FACTOR.

Your general opinion of this product.
My star ratings say everything but for the price, they are great! They do not match the quality or come close to the quality of my $200 headphones so for "true" sound, I think they fail. I was on a tight budget, which included building a sound studio into a corner of my detached garage. But to get things going, these work in a pinch. But will I eventually replace these with a pair of $800 or $2,000 monitors, you bet!
10 STARS! WELL MADE, VERY DEPENDABLE, LIKE MANY GERMAN-BUILT PRODUCTS... STURDY!
COULDN'T BE EASIER!
FRONT POWER SWITCH, VOLUME, AND TONE CONTROLS WERE WHAT I DEMANDED TO HAVE IN A MONITOR. I WOULDN'T CHANGE ANYTHING, EXCEPT FOR TONAL QUALITY.
EH, OKAY FOR THE MONEY. BUT I COULDN'T AFFORD $2,000 MONITORS RIGHT NOW SO WITH THAT IN MIND, THESE RATE A "10."
HAD THEM TWO WEEKS... I THINK THEY'LL HOLD UP FINE. I HAVE OTHER BEHRINGER PRODUCTS, AND LOVE THEM ALL.

Ms40 Powered Monitors

They appear to be made well, seem to be solid, but something just isn't right inside the cabinet with the amp. I decided to keep them because of the small price I paid and because they work without fail. I can use these for my MP3 player when I upgrade to passive monitors and a separate amp.
I like the controls in front, a grill in front of the driver would be nice, something to protect it.
Very easy to set up and use, didn't really need to use manual.
If you hate buzzing and/or noise from vibration as I do, don't buy these. They sound great at low volume, but what good is 40 watts if you can't use 40 watts.
In almost a year of daily use I haven't experienced any problems, they are reliable.
Your general opinion of this product.
They have all the features I was looking for at a price I was willing to pay, but a little disappointed with the sound they produce.

Yes and no... Good frame and solid speaker, just no power. Now I am going to now buy better quality speakers for taking the cheap way out.
The easy and best features are being able to use RCA/Optical plug-in's in the rear. The knobs are easy to figure out with the option to put head-phones in the front.
The speakers are really easy to use, and works well with what ever you are trying to accomplish recording wise. If you have any knowledge how to hook up a stereo system you won't have trobble figuring these out. The Manual reads easy, and the speaker do work, and are well constructed.
Very weak considering these are studio monitors.
They hold up well and are quite solid.
Your general opinion of this product.
Well ok I was looking to get some monitor speakers but really didn't want to pay $400.00 dollars a pop. Maybe I should have waited. The speakers are well put together and durable. But honestly they have no power what-so-ever. If you throw to much Sub Bass on these things they pop. To me I would expect monitors to handle sub-basses fairly well since they are designed to hear the clarity of what you are recording. The power is just not there, when I pump them up they pop. I know what I am doing, and I have stereo speakers that can handle a ton more sound without punking out. If your looking for cheap these are it. If your looking for power or if you like to feel your music...nope! I would say they fall short of power. I was really dissapointed but didn't want to fool with packing them back up and sending it back.. They just didn't cost that much to begin with. I would def. say save the extra money and buy a higher quality monitor for your studio. You will thank me.

One of the best features of these monitors is there are two inputs....one digital and the other is analog.
So easy to use even a flea could use this great product
Great tone and the versatility to adjust the tone in your favor
Solid construction is all I can say....They are well built And will last a long time
Your general opinion of this product.
I love the way they sound....More then worth the price

Behringer - - never ceases to amaze!!
By: AMS Customer from USA

Your general opinion of this product.
QUALITY:
I buy Behringer stuff because it's affordable. All of the stuff I have received from them has been very servicable and suited the intended purpose. These units are no exception - - I just have to remeber that I only paid $130 for them. That being said, the only thing most of the Behringer stuff lacks is the bling that would put them in the "high" quality range - - I don't miss it.
FEATURES:
I connected them through both the Toslink connection and the RCA jacks. I'm running them through an Audigy 2-zs sound card (did I mention "really" affordable home studio?), and the analog connection seems to add some bass to the digital. You can adjust volume of each connection individually. You can also adjust the bass and treble to get closer to a neutral response.
EASE OF USE:
Simple - - very... (did I mention that these are monitors?)
VALUE:
I'm always suprized that Behringer stuff works at all (or for very long)

This Product is Behringer Technology,it's brilliantly constructed for as they say, project studios and computer based studios. They are setup so easily so just plug your rca's and your on.The part s used are quite german, which means rugged and durable as usual. The finsh is quite nice.
FEATURES:
The bass and Treble control, plus the headphone port that I wouldn't be using.
EASE OF USE:
Just tooo easy to setup. You don't need the manual for this one.Well my setup really consist of behringer products like my eurorack MX2642A board. This product took two minutes to learn. The manual was very helpful, but only glimsed it.Very playable product.
VALUE:
Well worth the price.Compared to the other monitors around this price, heck, you can't get better sound with 40w.Compared to the m-audio line and the edirol and other mediocre...

Your general opinion of this product.
QUALITY:
These monitors are made very well. They are durable, dense, have "substance", and are very easy to setup. In two minutes I had these babies plugged in and blasting music.
FEATURES:
Very easy to setup, super clear instruction manual with picture guides.
EASE OF USE:
This product is extremely easy to use. All you need is an RCA cable (under $10.00, can get at any electronics store) to connect the monitors to your PC/TV/system and it's good to go.
VALUE:
These monitors were well worth it. I can't believe they were under $250, let alone half that price.
SOUND:
The sound quality of these monitors is GREAT. They bring out the absolute best in every song for sure. I've never heard quality this good, even with $200 headphones.

Excellent Value for Your Budget Musicians!

Your general opinion of this product.
QUALITY:
Gave 5 stars for this price. Can't complain. Keep up the good work, Behringer. You gave us ppl with small budgets a chance to taste digital sound/recording.
FEATURES:
It has S/PDIF (both coxical and optical inputs), RCA, and one 1/8" so you can connect to anything including your computer's sound card.
The only complaint is it doesn't come with audio cables. I had to buy an S/PDIF cable so you can't just P N' P right out of the box.
EASE OF USE:
Good.
VALUE:
Excellent.
SOUND:
Decently good (what more do you want for this price?).
