Overall, it's okay but, horrible and it distorts at max power even on clean channel, I have a 50-watt amp that I use, and it sounds way Beter at max power if the clean sound was cleaner and had a bit more power to it this amp would be perfect, but as a professional guitarist I do not recommend it.

This has to be one of the nicest amps I have ever seen in this price range. I really was blown away by the quality and sounds I was able to get with it. Highly impressed and so were my band mates. Easily managed a good sized gig without any problems, stayed clear and loud the entire time.

Great stereo depth and awesome tone all around with easy controls that let you set your presets quickly and access easily with the provided footswitch. This amp does it all from crystal clean country tone to full on in your face metal tones. Plenty of headroom for live performances and it keeps up with my drummer very well. When I mic for a show we don’t run stereo out front so I use a SM 58 about 6” in front of the amp pointed between the two speakers. It catches good tone from the stereo spread that way. I have no complaints at all with this amp the versatility goes a long way.

This is my first big Amp and let me tell you I'm blown away how good it sounds.Its real easy figure out different tones to fit my style of playing,I play a little bit of everything and it still impresses me .I would highly suggest it for anyone that is new or upgrading ,you won't be disappointed.

This amp has everything you need for the price, a Swiss army amp of sorts, cleans sound like a tube amp, distortion and dirty is solid, effects are decent, and plenty of volume. Quality build great for practice, recording, and stage. Would recommend to any guitarist.

This Blackstar ID 100 watts combo is a great awesome product. I brought it on stage this past weekend on a gig and it just lit the sound of my guitar. I used it on the Clean Channel for certain songs and the crowd love it I have a marshall DC 40 also for my crunch & Dirty side sound.that I bought thru AMS also 7 yrs ago

I got this as the perfect compliment to my Boss Katana 100, and it delivers as promised and more! Much easier to dial up and create presets, the cleans are cleaner, and the stereo effects sound like it’s a ventriloquist amplifier! Seriously, the effects really do sound like they’re coming from out around the room.. It’s baffling!(No pun intended!) Very lightweight and easy to carry and load, too. I love that you can dial between an American amp tone and a British tone or anywhere in between! The dirt is dirty and the cleans are cleaner!

I was actually trying to buy a new Marshall amp to upgrade, but after looking up some demos I found one comparing Marshall,blackstar (ID Core series), Orange, and Fender. The Blackstars cleans, gain, crunch and effects sounded too good to pass up on. And with AMS payment plan, I am Enjoying this killer amp to the fullest!

I bought this Amp for clarity in my guitar runs. I did not get that as this Amp distorts at higher volume settings.
I was expecting one speaker, not two, and that may have compromised the Amp's ability to produce 100 Watts. My bad, but the Amp just doesn't provide what I expected...

First Blackstar I have ever played, I am a Blackstar fan. From great tone to simply controls, this this is a beast. My only gripe would be the software which is a bit buggy, but you really don't need it. This thing sounds amazing.

Do you normally buy Marshall Amps I heard good things about the Blackstar ID Core 100 and they were right this little amp is a powerhouse with 100 watts and the awesome Looper and Superwide Stereo you cant go wrong I love it. And AMS made it easy for me have this amp with easy monthly payments. Highly recommended

definetly needs the footswitch to really make use of all aspects of this amp. one reviewer said the amp cuts off abruptly, sometimes killing sustain.... this amp has a built in noisegate, that can be turned off with the footswitch, and you can use an outboard gate, like the electro harmonix one, in front of the amp. perhaps, if you have windows 7, the software can be manipulated to adjust noisegate parameters. don't know, as I have windows 10, and blackstar has not updated software to work with windows 10...we all should get after them for that. MS has discontinued updates for windows 7. recording sound is amazing. amp is a 10 out of 5 stars.

This guitar amp is probably one of the most underrated guitar amps on the market today IMHO. The Blackstar ID Core 100's features have the ability to satisfy almost everyone, from the home studio recording musician to the onstage performing musician. The build quality is very good and the amount of features you get for your money is excellent. I would recommend this amp for anyone needing a great sounding solid state amp at a very affordable price. If you decide to buy one you will be pleasantly surprised at how great this amp sounds!

Upon receiving this amp I was immediately impressed with the overall build quality. All components felt solid and well made. After plugging it in and playing thru, I was pleased to hear the tones eminating from it on every voice setting. Was a little disappointed to learn of the issues with firmware upgrades and the fact that the insider software is NOT windows 10 compatible. I decided to keep the amp as is, i have no need of a desktop tweaking app especially if it doesnt work. Other than the spftware I am completely pleased with all aspects of my purchase.

I had a vox ac15 and it was too noisy, what they call the "noise floor". I had it for like over 3 years and finally realized I didn't have to keep it cause it is a cool name amp. this was the best one I've seen from online searching. it is loud, the clean is great and clear. it is very low on noise, even with gain on from the amp or pedals. I have this and a katana 100 for stereo sound and couldn't be happier. I give this the edge to the katana. if you were to just get one, get this one

I am able to get some really great sounds from this amp. The range of sounds is pretty versatile. I play a lot of Foo Fighters, ACDC, Van Halen, 90s grunge, Metallica, and Sabbath. The features are very easy to use and the stereo sound fills the room with ease.

I bought this amp because I wanted a decent amp with some effects but didn’t want to spend over 500 for a practice amp. I have had the line 6 spider v and though it has more effects and gadgets, this amp provides tone that I just can’t quite get from the line 6. There is one weird aspect which this amp has and its when I am on the overdrive and crunch settings where it cuts out when the guitar is very quiet such as letting a note ring out, it will just cut out noticeably. Not sure if this is on all of them or a defect in mine. But highly recommend this blackstar.

This amp delivers a vast array of effects and tones that are perfect for any genre. The super wide stereo surround sound is the best part about this amp. It makes the amp sound so much bigger than it is. This amp is lightweight and it delivers a huge sound that's big enough for most live gigs.

I purchased an ID Core 10 a few years back as a little practice amp for my son. The sounds and flexibility that is in these Blackstar amplifiers is incredible. I was glad to see the 100 watt version become available and I purchased one recently. The amp has plenty of power and the stereo effects are impeccable. I also have a Marshall Code 50 watt amp and the Blackstar is a lot easier to operate. Great job Blackstar!
