Great service from AMS once again!!! I originally had a hard time getting the sound I was looking for. Amp seems rather harsh, still not completely sure if it's what I will being using in the long run.

Love this thing. It just arrived and it's bigger than I anticipated. I almost sent it back for something a bit smaller, but it's so badass I decided to keep it. Its watt adjustable down to 6 watts anyway so WTF right. I ordered a "minor blemished" one saving myself a bit over $150 but for the life of me I can't find the blemish. It's flawless. Took a little while to come in the mail compared to other things I've purchased from AMS(only about a week),but well worth the wait.

I am not sure what Blackstar did but this amp surely is a batik amp that everyone should have easy to keep, easy to play with an amazing sound, Blackstar step up the quality and sound of this amp it blew my mind, is as good as the Big brother series incredible.... Is an amazing amp for all types of music, Thank you Blackstar!!!

I’ve never done a review but this amp exceeded my expectations and deserves five stars in my opinion. Never owned such a versatile amp without adding effects. It sounds amazing for the price. When I start playing, hours will pass before I want to take a break. Waiting on five button switch to come but have figured out how to toggle between the two overdrive channels using voicing option on two button switch. Love this amp and would highly recommend

So I was on the fence about ordering this amp. Decided to pull the trigger and it's a monster of an amp. 70 lbs, built like a tank and LOUD. Pushing at 11 o'clock volumes and it sounds great, past 2o'clock and its tube tone mayhem. Great amp, would recommend....plus AMS shipped it in 1 DAY!! Site to home in 24 hrs

This amp is extremely versatile and sounds great. Anything from clean to heavily distorted sounds are within reach. It also takes pedals very well. I’m using this with a digitech rp1000 via the 4 cable method and can get any tone imaginable. Thanks AMS!

Ive had the BlackStar ht 20 which was also a decent amp. But it felt somewhat limited. When I picked this one up and plugged in I found a whole palette of different sounds to choose from theyve overhauled the stage series to have a wider tonal range so its pretty easy to find what you're looking for.Good digital reverb also. Great amp 4/5

I love this amp. Have the first version and it gets gigged all the time. Holds up like a champ so I had to grab the new one. The improvements the guys at Black star made to this amp are awesome. The selectable power rating is an awesome feature. Ams made this purchase awesome will be back for more!!

This is a pretty powerful AMP however the gain sound wasn't as good as I had hoped it would be. I can get a good crunch sound after taking some time to adjust the settings. I had some problems playing out at gigs getting my leads to cut through. Am currently dropping some V30's to get a better sound but if not I may be considering trading it in or retiring it as a practice rig.
